Thread: Homebrew Kegging system

PREFER LOCAL, but might consider shipping.

Just like the title says. Full setup for homebrew kegging. Cornelius keg, regulator, hoses, extra gas fitting, extra o-rings, 5lb CO2 canister (empty). Looks like locally its about $300. I'd take $200 and entertain offers possibly. Its in perfect shape.



Shoot me a pm or sumthin...

Ill take more detailed pics but i can say there is a lil co2 in there and its stayed in for at least the last 5 years in storage. Looks like new really.

Hydro tests are only good for five years, so most likely yours needs tested. No big deal as most places that fill can do the test, usually for $20 or so.

My last 20# tank fill up was on the last day of the cert on my tank. Got it filled with 8 hours to spare.

Oh it will surely need to be tested as it was bought from a shop in Jersey. Any shop that fills it would likely want to test it even if its before the 5 year date.

From what i can tell the date is August of 1995 from the tank markings. I will deduct $20 from the price for the test and if it fails I will refund part of the buyers money.

I might be interested... just gotta find the right fridge and hardware... Right now I'm using a loaner system but the owner is moving back to Utah in June.

If you can find a deal on a Dorm fridge or better yet a small chest freezer (would need the external thermostat) you could have two keg system with a CO2 manifold. I did this with a 5.1 CF and picnic taps for couple years before I found a deal on a large CF.

I now use my 5.1 CF as a fermentation chamber.

Dibs if you can ship. I totally understand wanting to keep it local, however.

definitely go with the chest freezer. so much more efficient.

Hell, I jumped the gun and kegged before having a fridge and just leave mine in a really cold basement with no issues. If I want really cold beer as opposed to "English" style, I just fill a growler or two and throw it in the fridge.

Anyone out there homebrewing and not kegging, save your hobby and buy this. Washing bottles is proven to result in a severe neurological deterioration over time, manifesting in mental health issues and walking away from brewing batches for longer and longer periods of time. Brew more and experiment more, buy this dude's keg setup and use your bottles as slingshot targets.

^^^^ yeah what this dude said...you'll go batty if you dont start kegging your homebreww.
