Just woke at camp outside of red lodge. Looks like 4" in town and 8" at the base of the ski resort. Hoping the clearing weather will help to speed up MTD opening the pass. I'll keep yall posted

Pass is finally open. MTdot's reporting it's 39 and raining/snowing up there. Gonna be warm in Red Lodge the next few days. Like in the 80s. Could be some good corn ripe for the harvest tomorrow, though.

Yea! Opening weekend was killer! The snow is nice and soft; summer skiing at its finest.
The lifts on twin lakes are still offering discounted tickets to all TGR maggots. $40 lift tickets with proof of membership and $35 tickets with proof a TR post on your visit. We are also offering $20 power hours any time of the day. We are open 9-3.
Come get the radest lift access offered anywhere in June!

Thinking about coming down between the 17th and 19th. How do I prove membership, do I just tell you my user name at the ticket trailer?

So the ski area itself, is it open mid-week? Is it at all likely to be open in early July? Details are pretty scant. I'm thinking about making my way down, but with 1200km each way, I want some details.

I would assume 1200km in any direction of where you are has decent skiing, if you are willing to work for it.
Rock creek is thinning quick, that pic is deceiving. It is definitely a low snow year. The "ski area" has good coverage. Gardiner headwall has limited options cause of rapid loss of snow. Many of the colouirs on the pass are holding snow well, but they are not for the faint of heart.
Its really a very cool area that you should see at some point.
With these temps and weather I would not think early july would be a good time.
    I was there yesterday.
There is tons of terrain but you have to walk or sled to it, if there is enough snow to sled after this week.

I'm talking about lapping the chair all day long. There's good skiing just 300km away, but I'm short on partners. There's always next summer if it's not gonna hold out for long. It'll be at least 2.5 weeks before I could head out.

Ok, lift area details. Beartooth Pass highway 212, twin lakes headwall 3 miles past the the MT/WY state line, but in WY.
We are open everyday from 9-3 until the snow is gone. It has been scary warm up there so I would recommend coming within the first three weeks of June. The skiing is prime right now, and it looks like some colder temps on the way.
For the mag discount I guess just print off a page from a TGR forum while logged in, or leave it up on your smartphone if that is how you roll. I just want to see some skiers on the headwall, I'll throw you deal just to promote the stoke.
Come get some, the place is worth checking out.

Second Annual Beartooth Summer Session is just over two weeks away. Just a reminder to make it out if you can because it is going to be an awesome event.

We have gotten amazing help from all the sponsors and as of now have over $6,000 in gear we are bringing out there and still working on more.

    Should be an awesome time.

Tickets will go on-sale in the on3p store in the next day or so. If you have any questions you are welcomed to give the on3p factory a call!

    Bit more spam....

Tickets can be bought in our store.
    http://on3pskis.myshopify.com/collec...summer-session

We have so much gear for this thing it is ridiculous. A few things are still showing up but talking 2 pairs of skis from us, multiple suits from saga plus a ton of swag, jackets from trew and bloom, smith goggles, tons of yowies from outdoor tech, one of a kind cut & sew shirts from phar north, face protection from kink, shorts from crash pads. If you go I cannot imagine you don't leave with something.

    Should be a great time!
