Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros - (you've heard this already trust me, so get it)
Check this 'band' out. You've already heard it in MSP and probably on some TV commercials, but it's not like super mainstream eh.
Just about every song is good.

Saw them on a whim in Burlington a couple months ago. I think every sorority girl from UVM was there.... In fact he had them all come up on stage for a serenade to end the show.
Sweet DPS vid, great song.

40 Day dream. Best song of theirs, IMO. Has all their vocal "soul" and all their instrumentation. The studio version is even better, but you need to down load it P2P.

So, a month and a half ago my wife and I went and saw these guys at the Belly Up. Wow, one of the best shows I've seen.

Cool band, I like the sound.
Thanks for the bump
-That's a lot of band members: thinking about the take home pay for each performer after a gig, pocket change?

I'm positive they're both super stoned in that interview.

Yeah, saw them at the Fox theater the other day - solid show and some serious talent. I think they're just really stoned a lot of the time. Super energetic show that blends a lot of the songs together and jams them out (in a non-stupid way).

"Home" is one of those I'd never forget where I was the first time I heard it songs - driving down a side street, just before Xmas 2009, headed to dinner with my wife and then having her pissed that I kept talking about how I need to find out what the fuck that was. I dug and dug for it that night and instantly downloaded Up From Below when I found it. Its funny how what I thought they were when I heard them was not what they really are on stage. I pictured an old lady and a Hank Williams lookin dude from Arkansas and was convinced they were rock-a-billy. I like to keep that image in my head.

To me it seems like they're all in a cult. No question the music's catchy, but they're just a little out there...
