Not sure how to compare to what you see, since I've been this way my whole life. But it's more a contrast issue. Really hard to read red type on a darker background (like your brown shorts). Some of the worst are things like dark green on a red background (or the other way around) or red type on a black background. Just keep in mind that red doesn't stand out to colorblind people like it does to others.

If your logo had black letters on that red background, instead of white, I'd have a really tough time reading it.

Oh, and re: Kuhl pants - I love mine, but I can't get my dick out of the fly without undoing the button and the zipper. It pisses me off (even more so if I piss on myself).

In any case, if you're ever really in this situation make sure you at least bargain in a couple of fluffers.

I'd like a pair with about a 10" or maybe 11" inseam. I'm not into the capri look.

Need more pics of your clothes with that model.

I will find some brown and black pics and post here. go bigger in waist (try 40 which are really like a 37-38), stay with your normal length. if you did go to small and had a blow out, we will replace them at no cost...
Bummer, was liking those two colors. Double bummer: you don't have anything in my size (40x34). Start making pants in mens sizes please.

^^^ We do have 40s and 42s in 32 length but will be making bigger next. Need to sell off some of these. I thought most of these were going to be sold in the mountains so there is more in the lower 30s range. More sizes coming soon.]

Cool. Let me know when you do. Hell, I'd spend a few extra bucks if you're able slap together a light khaki and a khaki in my size.

I prefer to have my apparel custom tailored anyhow.

Another who has been interested for awhile. I'm weird in the fit though, 32x32 in Levi's & most other jeans, while 32x30 in my Carhartt dungarees. Suggestion?

The price is steep for me, I buy wranglers at Costco, but could use a sturdy pair of pants and would like to help out a somewhat local mag. But I'm still a bit confused. I normally wear a 33-30 or sometimes 32-30 or 34-30 (the 33 is more or less the correct size, but some pants fit tight and I go with the 34, some are looser and I go with the 32). Should I go with 36-30?

Also, it's not entirely clear what colors are what. From the shorts pic I can see what "Dark Brown" looks like, but where is a pic of "Khaki" (the picture on the pants is "Light Khaki")? I followed your ebay link, Khaki is that sand-like color? In the 5th post there is a dark grey pant, is that "Black" or is that a color that doesn't exist anymore?

I fondled these pants when I was at the ski show in Denver.
They made me feel like other jeans aren't even made from cotton.

wearing the pants for the first time today, really like 'em.

Sizing info: seems spot on, order one size up. I can fit in 32s, but not if I gain 5 pounds; 33 is really my correct size and when the sizes are even only, I order 34s. The Prospect 34s fit like 32s normally fit, and the 36s fit like 34s normally fit, so I went with 36. As for length, they may be a smidge on the short side; I am a 29 1/2 inseam and the 30s are perfect on me. Someone who is a true 30 or slightly longer might find them too short.

    Thanks Mike!

Thanks for sending 2 pairs of shorts. Great support by Mike. They definitely sized like my ole Carhartt shorts at the waist which are way loose at 36". The 34" seem right and will be better once I get a few pounds off on the bike. I really like the material and they seem very well made.

Mike was super helpful with a recent order of these. Normally wear a 34x32, ended up with a 36x32. Good size for summer and hanging in flips- these are super soft and light, despite also feeling rugged. Might want a 34 length for winter with boots. I also like the straight leg so the cuff is nice and loose- not flared, but also not tapered.

MiCol... I really want to order some shorts but can they come in an 80s basketball length like Mike used to wear? I like to live "on the edge"!
