We make these in Colorado and LA. The pockets are fashioned after WWII-Vietnam era BDU's. Great for lounging around and casual Friday at the office. There are 7 pockets, use the floating smart phone pocket and key pockets for items that need to stay with you. The big pockets are great for large items you don't want to press against your leg. These pants are light 100% canvasse' cotton. (Not quite linen light) They are exceptionally comfortable in hot and humid climates because they breathe better than jeans and blends. Do not wear them tight. You can blow them out if you are going all skinny pistol. Reinforced knees, rear pockets, and rear cuffs. Oversized belt loops for big studly belts with tombstone buckles. Nice heavy duty zippers (most are YKK). Nice trim work on pants. You will not find another brand that has the intricate detail work. Please order at least one size larger in waist than you normally wear Ours are pretty much smaller than normal pants. so dont feel bad. length should be ok with your normal size.

Wasn't me, but I've been meaning to try them out for a while now. Guess it's time.

So I normally wear a 36 or 38 x 34. What should I order? 40x34? And what are the two colors shown on the website? Khaki & dark brown?

^^ sorry as with most of our other newer company screw ups, our website shows khaki and a color we discontinued (light khaki)
I will find some brown and black pics and post here. go bigger in waist (try 40 which are really like a 37-38), stay with your normal length. if you did go to small and had a blow out, we will replace them at no cost...

These are legit. Super comfortable, they're great for work pants and you can even dress them up a bit. Definitely run small (I'd even argue an inch of length too), but I'm completely happy after sizing up.

Hell yeah! These look sick, and am willing to give er' a go. Confused on the fit of the jeans though. Are they "fitted" more or less, or baggy?

Pants run small, order at least one size larger than you normally wear.

Really? WTF? You should fix this. People like those who posted above, and me have no idea what this means. Waist? Length? Both? If you're making these, I don't understand why you can't just make it so a 36x30 has a 36" waist and a 30" inseam. You're screwing yourself out of lots of internet business by having that lame quote, and that lame problem on your site. Sure, it doesn't matter if I live there and can walk in and try them. But otherwise, there's no way I'm ordering a pair.

Oh, and I love the look of that style front pocket. But they always frustrate me because if you sit down and your knees are above your ass, all the coins fall out of your pocket. Did you account for this and put a bar tack or something at the seam so coins stay in?

The pants look good once I got to an appropriately expandable photo. But you need more of those and you need them for each color.

Sorry to be a negative nancy, but the whole sizing thing is BS. You guys make great stuff, your site and your sales approach should reflect that. Right now it kind of doesn't.

Thanks, They fit athletic legs pretty well. So, I am going to say more towards a relaxed fit than fitted. You do not want to wear these tight. We did a lot of gun shows this winter. We found that 70% of these buyers could not fit into our current pants. The majority of the gun show folks we dealt with were big.

You should go 34x34.

Thanks for the positives. I also encourage constructive criticism as we respond and tweak. But, I have to tell you that making and selling pants is a tough game.

I will give you a free pair of our pants if you can find one pair of your own off the rack pants from the last 10 years that measures exactly what its tag says. I further challenge you to measure yourself and see what that number is for personal reference. I have measured hundreds and hundreds of used pants in thrift stores as well as brand new off the rack (both preshrunk and not). The results were that zero of them matched their tagged size. I found that manufacturers have been embellishing sizing to keep consumers buying more fashionable garments.
All you have to do to win my challenge is to look through your pants, make sure there is a tagged size somewhere within the pants. Then take a measuring tape and pull it round. For waist measure inside pants, center of button , around the circumference to the outer edge of button hole. For length, measure from center of crotch down to end of cuff. You will be astounded with what you find. If you find it, take some pictures and email to me.

I do have a problem with my website and being able to properly display pictures to my liking. I am on my 3rd set of web "designers". I continually hear, "you don't have that module", when I show them a link to someone else's site with something that I want or feel is needed. The problem is the web designers I have dealt with obviously have never sold anything (hard or soft goods) off the internet for themselves. Or, they would not act so dumbfounded when I make the requests. I guess you get what you pay for. However, launching a clothing line when going up against the VF Corps, Columbias, Levis, Patagonias, etc can be a daunting task. There are many days when I have thought, "why the fuck am I doing this?". These corps have billions in assets, sales and produce garments with cheap labor in some of the most horrific conditions imaginable. I keep soldiering forward.

Just know that I am working on everything all the time. My resources are limited by myself to what I can afford and related to sales. I am building this business without debt. I wish everyone could remember when I started and had a one page website with a couple of paypal buttons. It was pretty sad. I am progressing. I will make mistakes and correct and continue to move forward.

With regard to the large front pockets...note that I say that change and such should be kept in the oversized coin and floating smart phone pocket (pocket named aptly because it terminates higher than the front outer pocket). Do not carry your Iphone around in the big front pockets and then flop back in a chair. The Iphone will be in the chair along with any spare change. Keep the phone in the phone pocket and the change in the change pocket. Keep keys in the coin and phone pockets. The outer pocket are great for times you go from outdoors to indoors and want to put a large item like a pair of sunglasses in your pocket without crushing them. You do have to train yourself a little.

There are a couple of pics of khaki on ebay (the last two pics) that have the magnifying glass option whereby you can really see close up. For the record, the khaki pants pic on ebay has the pants way too tight on the mannequin. we do not advise you to wear these tight.

So with Levis 560 jeans (relaxed fix because my dick is long) I comfortably wear 34X32. With other brands (e.g., Mountain Khakis) I need 36X32.

I'm guessing that with your's, 36X32 ought to suffice. Oui? ("Oui" means "Si" in French)

Good looking pants. Always eager to support a local company. I am also interested in the shorts so I think I will hold off on ordering until those are available to save on the shipping.

I have a pair of these and love them. I've worn them multiple times this week.

FWIW, if the tags are to be believed, mine are my normal waist size (32) and fit well.

I know it has worked whereby some people fit into the size they normally would wear. It is the 1/2 size people that either squeeze into the smaller size or have extra room with a size up. Squeezing into this fabric is a no no. There are just a couple of areas that when you squeeze in or they are fitted and you start bending and torquing out the hip, the fabric cant take the extra 3" of torque that the body moves into that area. so, as opposed to replacing those pants , we just suggest go bigger in the waist. We will sew from some different fabrics in the future. However, this is just a great pant for the heat because it breathes so well. Ive been wearing these things for the last year, every single day. I recently made a visit back East and wore a pair of old levis once. I could immediately feel the difference in being hotter than normal below the waist

Shorts:

I am working to get the shorts into the online store by tomorrow. I will then post them up on here in a separate thread. Shorts can probably be worn true to size to whatever other brands you wear. They are coming out of laundry plant and are staying pretty true to size.

This year I have made the shorts about 1 1/4 inch shorter in length. So, they are falling in the 13" length range. They will be ready to ship by next Tuesday. I will also have Nylus shorts Tuesday as well. I will start a different thread for shorts and will have pictures and be adding more pictures. I snagged a brown pair today and did a quick shoot. Next week I will shoot the Nylus and Khaki Cotton shorts.

Cotton Shorts will be same price as pants $38.50 for single , 2 for $69
Nylus will be $55

Just out of curiosity, what does red look like to color blind people?

I also want to take this opportunity to mention that one difference between our pants and KUHL from design standpoint is that our pants and shorts give a longer fly zipper. This really helps with the inside leakage issue when zipping up that I've experienced wearing their pants in the past. We also dont use that internal button that further reduces the fly access and obstructs access to the interior...
