HOLY SHIT.

Been waiting for this since the first Candide Kamera. So exicited.

He is perhaps my favorite skier. Gotta love his ridiculous talent on snow, coupled with his talent behind the lens, as well as how he just does his own thing, what is this like three ski movies in like 7 years or something? Not many competitions I dont think. Gotta love someone that takes the time to do things really well. Glad his sponsors support that because this and both kandide cameras are absolutely top notch in every way.

Those high-consequence pillow sequences were nutty as hell.

There is some real stoke in there for sure.

I was proabably 11 or 12 and standing at the top I felt like what that looked like. In reality it was probably four three foot drops, but it was scary at the time and felt so awesome to pull it off. I've been addicted to capturing that feeling ever since. That is some awesome cinema.

Pe#$r Al&@*t - sorry, you guys are choking on candide's more than deserved. and by new, i was hoping candide's opening shot wouldn't be a slowed down beyond belief straight air and then they actually go back to the same, pretty weak jump to show that he backflipped it. sorry, that is just not up to par with what i expect from one of my favorite skier's in the world. seems like a digression is all im sayin. and age has nothing to do with it, hes not even 30. remember, jp walker is 37 and he has been working on this movie forever, forever, and ever, and ever and ever. if i shot with durtschi, dane, or sammy for 5+ years, do you realize the trailer we would we would be able to put out. and not them together, just one of them for 5+ years....it would be better than this, trust me.

This is half the reason I respect candide so much, he seems unconcerned with impressing people. I bet there are SICK amazing lines he has been filmed skiing that didnt make the cut because they don't fit with his vision for the film. Dare I say it, the dude is making art more than just showing off his skills and sizeable cahones.

You don't think tons of banger shit gets dropped in favor of shitty lifestyle shots in every single ski film out there? Get real man. The "vibe" makes some insane shit hit the floor every single season in every single ski/snowboard film. Except for maybe MSP who make their films waaayyyyy too long.
