I <3 PS 6 beta...
Jep, there, I said it.
Photoshop user since,what, 1.05, working platform is still CS3. yep,tested the cs4 & 5, and didnt bother.
Shiiiit, ps6? Smooth, stable (knocks wood),fast(er) and after the initial "wtf, pics opened up in lightroom again?" moment things start to feel familiar.
Toolbar graphics take some accustomation, sidebars is still a mess as havent mastered to set things up as they have been.
Still have just scratched the possibilities of the new tools...content aware patch rules, 3D stuff looks like a real leap forward etc..
Amazing how a beta can feel so polished.

oh well... something good...something bad...
the ps cs6 fucks up your previous photoshops. if you install it, all the previous versions stop working and you have to de-install cs 6 and reinstall all the photoshops that you have...
spent 2 hours talking to some moron in the states, screen sharing and whatnot until got things sorted.
fuck adobe.

Not true. I have CS5.1 and CS6 on this machine and both work fine. I have CS6 and CS5 on both machines at home and both work fine. You are using software that is over 5 years old. You have to expect some problems with compatibility. If you didn't do a system backup before installing any beta software that is your own damn fault, not Adobes.

I also haven't had previous versions stop working.
I'm also in love with CS6. It's noticeably faster than CS5. The new raw converter seems to produce better looking images than the previous (I'm on Canon). The content aware is pretty awesome too.
I did a photo shoot recently where the client needed something removed from a large number of shots. On the majority of them it was as easy as select and delete with content fill.

Use your brain,mang.
A) I did not say I didnt back up, and backing up didnt help anything as the CS3 checked its authenticy the immediate as you open it, be the CS6 present or not.
B) Apparently it is a bug in the system, affecting cs2/3 and some 4s.
Yep, have to say, CS6 is good. The only thing I am missing is the windowed view, I cant seem to get used to the tabbed viewing..

Dude, are you on a binge again??! Or did you forget your winkys..
Never had a pirated work programs, asshat. Progs are again up and running again, and next week begins the migration to adobe cloud...the 29€ / month first year for old (legal) CS3 users seem to be a decent deal. And even after that, 600€/yr is on the par what I have been using the last years for the adobe progs.
Only gripe is that havent gotten a clear answer from adobe if the updates are mandatory, like if the update has known bugs or like if your system specs fail to meet the programs standards it would still auto update so that it would effectively brick the system.. or if you can stop at any iteration and continue paying the normal subscription fee..

If there's someone else out there who provides support for pirated versions of commercial software, I'd like to know. Occasionally I run into technical difficulties that can be tough to solve.

I bought a brand new in the box CS 5, and it would not let me install.
Called adobe, and they said it was a pirated version..Got with paypal, and they refunded my money, and I bough the next one diredt from Adobe.
Lots of assholes out there.
I like it aloit, but damn is it hard to learn all the cool stuff, in a short period of time.
Been watching alot of videos to help me understand it..
