Dude... you're going to love the 191 Lhasa's. I almost admitted myself to the hospital for an erection lasting > 4hrs after skiing them for the first time.

I got a set of 183 fats, carbon hybrids. I want to try a shorter ski for tree skiing. My lotus 138's did not do it for me in the tight trees. Thinking barons or dukes for maybe short tours and whatnot.
I miss skiing the day after my season ends and it makes me feel better if I buy a lot of ski stuff in the off season.

bushman - I think we gave you two bcl's to that end....one where the standard line is and one 3 cms forward, per Gone2Alpine's suggestion, that it makes them ultra-snappy quick. If not, anywhere from the line 3 cm's forward will do that.

    183 Fats are sold out now. One or two pair each of 179 Lhasa, 183, 186, 187, 188, 191, 192, 195 and 196 left.

Wassup w/ the bcl on the 187's, splat? Was thinking of mounting them up tomorrow. They're the shortest ski in my quiver - intentionally so - as I want them to be quick as hell for tight trees. On the line has been perfect (for me) on all of my other bros, but your advice to bushman re: 183's has got me thinking....

    What do you suggest?

191 fat? If so, I might try to sell mine in gear swap and upgrade

We skied them about 3 cm forward in Mammoth and they were sweet and quick, same as what's happening with the 183s, jgb. Piggity's are mounted at like 99cm from the tip. They skied great at 104 and they ski great at 101, more forward being quicker. It looks like the sweet spot is fairly large and can accommodate and accentuate your particular desires from quick tree turns to large open slope arcs and moving the mount will enhance either.

We're pretty much down to 192s, 195s and 196s on the remaining skis.

    Splat:

What are the dim's of the 179 Lhasa? How about the running length?

The Mrs loves her 179's so much that I'm thinking that some 179 Lhasa's might do her right too. Any left?

The 192 is the best charging ski I have ever ridden. I'm 5'9" and 140#. Don't be scared of it. I rode these at bridger, tight spaces.

Literally stomp anything. I sent harder with more confidence on those than any of the umpteen pairs of skis I have ridden. Would make a killer comp ski.

The Lhasas absolutely slay too, but you already know that.

Mounted my new 183cm Fats on the forward line with new Dukes. Looks like a sick, sick setup.

+3 huh... I'll easily be able to make that work with my Jester Demos for resort trees... but do I mount my barons +3.. or maybe +1.5..? inserts will share front two toe screws... What are the thoughts for best mounting point for bc.. PNW spring conditions...?

You can go +1.5, Ba Nosser. They'll be quick and easy there.

Splat - sent you a note @ sales @ pmgear about a pair of the 196 Lhasa's you have left. I'm ready to buy if you still have a pair.
