I am running for PCO and am unopposed. Most other PCO slots are either unopposed C4L candidates or C4L candidates versus establishment candidates. The C4L is actually going to be campaigning for our candidates to win their PCO slots. Most people don't even know what PCOs are, and now we are going to actually be campaigning for these positions! C4L members will be in position to completely take over the party. We will be setting the rules. We will be determining the platform. The establishment doesn't know what to do. They may well just self implode to keep us from taking over. The GOP as you know it (controlled by the religious right) is done.

I wouldn't be surprised if RP doesn't throw his support behind GJ, but it doesn't really matter, because he has the support of the majority of C4L members.

My guess is Gary Johnson is going to have a surprisingly strong showing.
Good for you man. I hope the GOP as its currently formed (pussified Tea party asshats) goes away. It's worthless.

So you're undermining the GOP in Washington State - a very blue state. Got it. Good luck.

All i could find on PCO's, which only exist in WA State:
    Duties

Informing their precinct of their party's candidates
    Registering new voters
    Identifying party members
    Recommending poll workers
    "Get out the vote" campaigns
Holding/leading a precinct caucus every spring of a presidential election year
    Attending legislative district party meetings

With this kind of leadership I've reconsidered, and offer my congratulations to President Paul.

i would not be surprised to see some part of the Ron Paul org in the back pocket of the Democrats. PNW brit is right, Paul just takes votes away from the GOP, this time around, not to worry with Romney the tool. In 4 years however, Paul better fucking throw in the towel.

Well, he will take away the stoner college vote from Obama, but that's assuming they remember that they'll likely need to vote absentee (or register in the state their school is in.)

If RP runs as a 3rd party candidate I think it would be worse for Obama than Romney. The outcome might be better in the long run though...we could get candidates for the Dems that are actually liberal instead of what we have with Obama (i.e. anti-war, leagalize it, etc.). The rest of RPs platform should be pretty unappealing to liberal leaning folks...but like you say, the pot schtick and anti-war stuff would hurt Obama a lot IMO.

Some might say Rand Paul’s endorsement of Mitt Romney is like Ayn Rand applying for food stamps but I say it’s proof that doughboyshredder is right!

You are the ones that are now getting shafted.

The 168-member Republican National Committee approved a report Thursday by the Romney-friendly “committee on contests” that invalidated Paul delegates elected in Maine based on irregularities at the state convention. The RNC voted to split the at-large delegation in half, effectively depriving Paul of control.

What a scam this whole thing is.

Besides not winning he is actually losing.

    Good-bye, Dr. Paul.

TAMPA -- Mitt Romney's presidential campaign gave Texas Rep. Ron Paul a chance to speak at the Republican National Convention, but he declined due to the conditions of the offer, the New York Times reports:

Mr. Paul, in an interview, said convention planners had offered him an opportunity to speak under two conditions: that he deliver remarks vetted by the Romney campaign, and that he give a full-fledged endorsement of Mr. Romney. He declined.

"It wouldn't be my speech," Mr. Paul said. "That would undo everything I've done in the last 30 years. I don't fully endorse him for president."

In your idiotic world, who isn't?

So has he won yet, or is he still just winning? Or were we using winning in the 'winning' Charlie Sheen sense?

No point, the RNC and all the republican governators will just invalidate them.

Pretty sad the RNC had to stoop to petty politics over RP's delegates. I am not RP fan, but even I thought that was BS.

Yeah, the righties really are masters of rigging the rules when it suits them, whether its the voter suppression effort at state and local levels, purging voter rolls, caging votes, now this thing with Ron Paul and the delegates.
