I'm loading up a pair of 207 rossi 7s's with sallys just in case. Don't worry, I'd be stunned if there weren't several easy laps first and possibly even some geezers (raising hand) who might completely puss out on skiing elevator on those fuckers.

Gahhh! I can't find my Vuarnets!

If anyone is having doubts about lbd, don't. It is not required to do anything stupid. Last year we didn't go up chair 2 until late in the day since it was so icy. If you can ski at an intermediate level, you will have no problem skiing chair 1. You have to remember that people were shredding on this technology for thirty years without being total pussies about it. It is more work, but not like you're going out there with leather boots and wooden skis. Its actually really fun. every year it's awesome to see some of our elder statesman straight kill it on long boards, just as hard as you would on regular skis.

Please come out, it's the best time of year you'll have tons of fun.

safely home from a great sesion, longboard day was a HUGE SUCCESS.

    lot 4 highs n lows
great watching ach spring into action attempting stop a illegal park job, only to find out the vehicle in question contained the precious yellow fluid.

...the same liquid later prompted a disrespectful man to urinate on the tailgate section of my day camp site. tiny pecker pumping out piss while my dogs are barking at him as me and the kegs owner look on in disbelief. i freaked and mid stream began to curse and dishonor the dudes lack of self control and etiquette. when he tried to blather his way out of it i had no choice but to cram a whole lot of my feelings down his throat.

dont worry he was not a mag, just a fucked up lurker taking advantage of good beer. glad most did not have to witness my attitude change.
i kinda went into battle mode and was ready
once again kids it was a great lbd session

Thanks to everyone who attended yesterday.
A great day of skiing was had by a more than able crew of long boarders.
Fantastic spring conditions for long railing it down Nash, Elevator, Gun Barrel, etc.

By my count there were 20 mag's in attendance also making this one hell of a fun mini summit.
Special props to the ladies that made it out with well appointed and LB period correct steeze, and yes long boards.

Double special props to WFT for showing up with a keg of some fine ale (and a tap).

If you didn't make it this year,
we missed you and you missed a very good time,
start looking now for 210's for next year.

The Sheik of Sartorial Splendor of the Day was without doubt Offpiste. From the 70s red puffy (one with baffles the size of couch pillows, not the tight tube baffles of today) down through the ensemble of classic sweet 70s sweater and matching otb stretch pants, all the way up to the crown of tyrolean cap with a galaxie of teensy silvered tinkling tassles and trinket pins, nothing short of pure awesumn3zz.

Great to see and ski with the grande cadre of k00ks and to finally meet Flowing Alpy (sorry about your ending.. lot 3 spillover?) and garyfromterrace. Big thanks to the grillistas SeaTuneSlack Key et al and to Moss Back for the salmon and Lars for the beer.

Wonderful day gents, biggest bestest and baddesht one yet. And yes, you clowns were missed (you know who you are).

Snow was really good and it was a sincere pleasure to rail around on the longbords. Best thing is that they don't really stand out all that well @ Alpental.
