Both ice axes and the smaller shovel are sold.

No bites on the packs yet. These are great, lightweight (borderline ultralight, but still very comfortable when carrying heavy loads) packs for overnight trips. My wife and I have used them for several overnight ski tours. Side compression straps hold skis in an A-frame. Also, they compress down really well for use as a day pack. The Latitude zippers make for easy access to avy gear.

I tried to offer fair prices. Feel free to price police me, though. Please do not lowball me without some sort of justification, though.

I've never taken a waxing table up Rainier.

    How'd that work out?

Wish you had alu crampons i'd have bought them.

Really? I thought everyone took a waxing table up there. How else are you supposed to adjust your wax choice to the changing conditions? We stopped half way down to switch from blue to yellow wax, which was critical to our success. Ha!

Yeah, so I snuck the wax table in there. Good catch, hehe. We moved from an apartment to a house with a garage (and work bench), so I don't need the folding table any more.

Sorry, no Al crampons. The weight of those things makes them tempting, but I have heard stories of people who have gotten into trouble on steep terrain (not vertical) because their front points dulled in a matter of a couple thousand feet.

Did you clean your crampons every step up the Raindawg or something?

How about some Plutonium or bomb plans (you can put them behind the copier, it's ok)

Hugh - I assume you're referring to the crampons being in good shape. They have seen only snow and glacial ice. I'm not qualified for mixed climbing, so the things haven't really touched a rock.

The G12 crampons are gone. The lighter G10 crampons are still available, though.

just fyi, Grivel makes a set of points (the "Haute Route" crampons) with steel front and aluminum back points. They're fucking awesome. I would never bother with any other crampons for ski mountaineering after having used a pair. 1lb 3oz. (less if you chop the center bar to length). They have steel points, antibotts, a bail that is specifically made for ski boots, and they work great on my TLT5 boots. Used them on Shasta last summer when it failed to corn up (boot boot boot) and I really really wished I'd brought them on Tyndall for the same reason (kicking fingernail-thick steps into ice really sucks -- I'll deal with a 19oz. weight penalty).

Now back to your regularly scheduled sales :-)

    Both avy shovels are gone.

Just FYI, Grivel states that the Haute Route crampons are intended for ski boots ONLY. The G10s fit on ski boots and on leather mountaineering boots.

The ski tuning table is the only remaining item. Very little interest in it so far. I didn't have high expectations, anyhow.

Thanks to all of the trustworthy, responsible buyers! Pleasure dealing with you guys!

Thanks for the help, CommonLaw. Ha!

Sorry for the late reply. I've been in AK for the last three weeks.

The table is still available. $60 is half of what the table goes for new on Tognar (at 15% off retail, even). Others have expressed interest but have been turned away by the shipping costs.

I'm in Los Alamos, NM. The dimensions and weight of the table are listed on the Tognar website. You should be able to get a rough shipping estimate with that info.
