    Hell of the North!!! Sunday...

Sorry if this has already been mentioned... I know it's not "Mtn" biking (been called out for being a "Road Geek")... But....
Sunday is going to be epic.... I believe this will be the 110th runnining of Paris-Roubaix. 160 miles (257km) of everything....

Should be damned exciting to watch! To bad Cancellera won't be there if even if I am not a fan of his.

He sure hammered them boys in 2010. Just rode them off his wheel while never getting out of the saddle.

He may or may have not lost some edge the past year or so. I kind of think so but he is still one BAMF on the bike. It is amazing how much power he can put out with those legs.

I love this race. Toughest one-day test in all cycling IMO.

Sunday forecast for Roubaix area from Weather.com :

Cloudy with occasional showers. High around 50F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
The showers will make it even more interesting than usual.

Crampedon, I'll take your bet - Boonen's definitely a favorite and I wish him the best, but there's so much luck involved. Like the guy several years ago that lost because a plastic bag got caught in his rear derailleur about 5K's from the velodrome.

Another Liggettism: "The Sky team is going into a bit of an eclipse." Not his best, but good for an early AM chuckle.
Decent people shouldn't live here...they'd be happier somewhere else.

Boy, they called him the favorite and he totally dominated. Couple of ugly spills. One of the greatest events on Earth.
