TR: Whitegrass, Canaan Valley, WV 3/23/2013
Great bluebird spring day at Whitegrass yesterday. Canaan Valley of WV has had an amazing winter and it just won't quit. Probably 6-24" dense base and a series of inch storms this past week yielded 4-6" over breakable crust - just enough for some soft turns. I've been on a splitboard all season but broke out the planks for the first time since early Nov (Sandy leftovers). It was a nice change of pace and my confidence started coming back by the end of the day. Solo tour, so no action shots, but I broke out the still a few times during the day. Tough day fighting the crowds. It was basically glade after glade after glade, all but a few were totally untracked. I wish I could return mid-week after this next storm rolls through.

Dig it. I like the TRs from random areas that i have never heard of. Looks like fun.
