The fibs told by Downbound Train. I suppose it’s cute when Downbound Train mimics skiing phrases and poaches pictures from around the web. It would be pathetic if it was anybody else.

You can see highway 210 below in the picture so not much of hike but for Downbound Train it may as well be Denali.

Are you kidding? I took the Sugarloaf lift most of the way up. Alta was open at the time.

Hey Triage. If I didn't know better, I'd say you were jealous. If you want I could give you some lessons next time I'm out there.

The bumped out chute etc. makes that part apparent. That's why one of several fibs is booting up the chute midday when Alta was operating. You might at least try to get the details right.

Then there's one of the all time hilarious TGR threads that you deleted like the pussy that you are in which you discussed High Rustler as the steepest line you've ever skied in response to a claim by a coworker that A-Basin was steeper. That thread was TGR at it's best. Although I can understand why you deleted it when it became apparent that you had never even skied that line either.

Oh Triage. I said "a" chute. Not Main Chute. Patrol closed the normal hike up due to rock exposure. I hiked up what is called "3rd Chute" in the Powder Hounds Guide to Alta. I don't know what it's really called.

    I do not lie.

In another thread you asked, never having skied either, which was steeper: Main Chute or Superior. You're telling fibs right now.

I never skied Superior. I have skied Main. I was looking for a comparison of Superior to something I knew. Superior looks much steeper but it's hard to tell from the road. I never did get an answer to that question. care to help me out?

Anyway, you might want to double check your facts.

Facts are, you've never skied Superior; you've never skied Main; and you deleted your own thread in which you discussed High Rustler as your steepest line ever due to a torrent of hilarious ridicule. Fact is, you are a poseur.

So change those facts and ski it next time you're in town. It's really no big deal and the view is stunning.

Depends on snow conditions and which line off Superior. None of it is as steep as it appears to be when looking at it from the road. For steep, look elsewhere, for esthetics, both are tough to beat.

How old are you? You may be getting dementia. I did not say High Rustler was the steepest thing I ever skied. I was looking for independent varification that high Rustler was steeper than Palli. (or not) to settle a discussion between me and a co-worker. The torent of ridicule was not due to HR being the steepest thing I ever skied. It was for another reason which I won't repeat because I don't want a new torrent of ridicule.

    Quick summary.

    Skied High Rustler
    Skied Main Chute
    Never skied Superior.

Thanks for the answer. maybe I'll haul my old ass up there some day.

Whoa! You're missing out! It's super-duper hella gnar! If you've never skied Superior then you may as well say you've never made it off the Bunny Hill. Just ask any of the heros here like Triage. When he's not busy e-stalking you and memorising every facet of your life, he's scoping that rad face out with his binos looking for the right time to strike!

Mentioning DBT's funny failures is roughly equivalent to you posting pictures of Dex grass skiing except Dex actually skied that run. As for Superior, you've made similar comments about skiing it yourself. Although when you skied it back in the 90s they hadn't invented metal edges on skis yet so that makes you super hard core. Not to mention you were living in West Valley next to gangsters and drug dealers. So core.

I remember all of this, as well as DBT's comments, because I offered to tour with you, and show DBT around, when each of you respectively were planning trips out west.

What happened? For some time, you kept promising a trip...

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^

Word has it that after you conquer Superior you're planning an assault on The Suicide Route. You're roping up for that one, right? I mean - we all know you're super badass, but everybody has his limits.
