I agree, but plenty of situations do not make it into the statistics. I am sure Jer can do a better job than me to linking us to some forums where these dipshits talk about how they intervened into some situation and potentially escalated it. This is definitely an example of where without a gun, Zimmerman would have stayed in his car. Its changed peoples attitudes. Road rage etc..i've personally noticed it. Everyone is the same size now with a baby glock in their butt crack.

[ I think you're blowing CCW way out of proportion. Here in WI we've had it for about six months and guys are already figuring out that it's a huge PITA to be carrying all the time. There also have been zero road rage shootouts or any other kind of shootout for that matter. It's like anything else - people get all hyped up about it, then when they can actually do it it loses it's lustre.

As for the Zim thing: he'll be aquitted then there will be massive riots.

I am practically a black man, and I think that information right there^, would compel me to give George 275K for his legal defense. I think the teen jumped him, was beating the shit out of him, and george pulled and fired.

So assuming for a moment that this reportage is accurate:

Twin Lakes, where we can safely assume that people have roughly the same socioeconomic status, is about 20% black, but almost all of the crime is committed by black people. Anyone car to hazard a guess as to why this is? Bush's fault?

Certainly race goes beyond African and Caucasian...I'm saying that attributing the language one speaks, in this case Spanish, to be equivalent to a "race" is incorrect and stupid. For example, I've heard some cons indicate that they'd like to see Rubio as Mitten's VP runningmate to win over the Hispanic vote. Only problem is that Rubio is Cuban, and on the issue of immigration, Cuban imigration does not equal Mexican immigration. But conservotards think "Rubio is Hipsanic, thus most Hispanics will vote for a Mittens/Rubio ticket"...which couldn't be further from the truth. And it looks like you're also a fucking moron. I got a whole lot less confrontational once I owned guns because I realized everyone else could have a gun too. Flipping off strangers for cutting me off in traffic was something I did before owning a gun, the very first time I did it without thinking while I had a gun in the car I realized how much of an idiot i was.

You do also realize that a few comments on an internet message board are not an accurate representation of the kind of people that carry in general right? Is this forum an accurate representation of the ski community? Thats a laugh most of you cunts dont even ski.

I'm not sure how you jumped from this information to your conclusion. This information certainly helps explain why Zimmerman was suspicious of a black teenager wandering around in his neighborhood, but it really has no bearing on the facts surrounding when he pulled the trigger.

My feeling is it's going to be difficult to convict Zimmerman. He's the only living person who saw what really transpired that night. Basically it's going to come down to the prosecution attempting to "prove" there's no way Zimmerman could have felt he was in grievous danger against Zimmerman's claim that he was. Whatever happens, though, Zimmerman has to live the rest of his life knowing he gunned down an unarmed teenager.
