Two weeks later on the same show on April 4, CNN re-assessed the tape with another CNN expert, and now felt it suggests George Zimmerman was just chilly, muttering the words "f--ing cold" under his breath. My point is that everything we know about Zimmerman's side of the story is now suspect. His own representatives say he said "Goons". Now the tape says "Cold".

So his representatives were lying when they said that on national TV.

Makes one wonder what else Zimmerman's side has been saying that is not true.

Rumors seem to be 2nd Degree murder charge being brought... That's what the AP is reporting.

Which in FL = Maximum of life in prison; Minimum of 25 years if firearm is used, otherwise a minimum of 20.5 years under sentencing guidelines for a person with a clean record

And that he's now in custody.

0% chance he gets convicted in a state that just acquitted a woman who killed her daughter then went on a bender to celebrate

Ain't going to be easy to get conviction, for sure.

Zimmerman is in custody and charged with 2nd degree murder. I am satisfied. Now for a trial.

I found it interesting that the special prosecutor (Corey ?) said she sees herself as representing the interests of Travon. And she is a conservative Republican and Christian.

Interesting, it looks like the prosecutor did not buy any part of what Team Zimmerman has been pedaling to the press over the past month. Reading it makes it easy to understand why they went with Murder instead of Manslaughter.

Also of note: they say he said "Fucking Punks", not coons, goons, or cold.

The arrest affidavit did not mention the photograph, or the bleeding, gashes, and bruises on Zimmermans’ head. Professor Alan Dershowitz of Harvard Law School stated upon release of the arrest affidavit that it was “so thin that it won’t make it past a judge on a second degree murder charge … everything in the affidavit is completely consistent with a defense of self-defense.”

After the release of the photo, however, Dershowitz went much further, telling Breitbart News that if the prosecutors did have the photo and didn’t mention it in the affidavit, that would constitute a “grave ethical violation,” since affidavits are supposed to contain “all relevant information.”


Dershowitz continued, “An affidavit that willfully misstates undisputed evidence known to the prosecution is not only unethical but borders on perjury because an affiant swears to tell not only the truth, but the whole truth, and suppressing an important part of the whole truth is a lie."
