Aesthetic Visible Satellite Images; a Missoula Perspective
Always love these despite the warmth they can bring, the cloud stretches from Hawaii to Montana. Of course we could ask for a little stronger surge, but note where its crossing the ID/MT border. Getting hammered but supposed to rise to 44 degrees tomorrow up high.
The storm going on, pictured above, is just a weak version of this one from late January that gave us 40-50 inches, 100s of inches on the coast I presume! The high pressure circulation that passed over Cali and Utah just pumped the moisture right over Missoula for three days as it moved east. Close to 18 inches in town I think. Once in a while we get lucky.
