WTB: AT boots: Dynafit Titans or similar
Looking to get into AT; I need a big beefy manly boot. What you got? Dynafit Titans look good, or something equivalent. No Scarpa, they hurt my feet.
Looking for a 27 or 28: For reference, I wear a Crispi Evo 27.5, a Scarpa TX-Comp 27, BD Push/Custom 27.5.
So, anybody got a good deal for me?

Black Diamond Factor w/130 Flex. Tongue reinforced with extra plastic tongue to make it even stiffer. Booster strap included. Both AT and Alpine soles. Beefy enough? used several seasons and shows wear. Boots punched out to make room for 6th toe. size 26.5. I wear Scarpa TX Pros in 26.5 for comparison. $150 plus ship.

I think a 26.5 would be too snug, if the sizes run similar to the BD tele boots. Customs in a 27 are painfully snug. My foot measures just shy of 28cm, for reference.

You go, FH! You won't look back after all those years of dropping the knee. Titans are an excellent choice for a beefy boot. Good luck finding them!

You should try on some Scarpa boots, the tele and AT boots are totally different. The T1 in my size was snug, the same size in the older AT Matrix boot my feet were swimming in them. A thermo liner with a footbed and shim had me with a good fit.
I would sell ya my 28.5 Scarpas but I forget where they break on the shell size, ie the 28 and 28.5 might the same shell just different liners. You are the mission Bob.

Thanks L! I'm demoing some Factor 130's tomorrow; wish me luck!
Scarpa tele boots have a really pronounced arch in the shell; it absolutely KILLS my feet. But I'm open to anything; I'm gonna try a whole slew of boots on this Sunday for a better idea of what I need. You should try on some Scarpa boots, the tele and AT boots are totally different.

We're certainly not a blues band in any kind of purest sense, but to me Rock and Roll has always had it's roots in that tradition.

I'd sell a pair of BD quadrants I bought here and never used. $150? I paid $500 for two pairs of boots, so they would go for a good loss. Size 28. They are not as stiff as my
Factors though.

BB let me know if you need help with geartrade shipping (pretty sure they don't ship to Canada). You can always ship to my addy and I'll forward them on to you in Ontario you can use USPS.com to get yourself a quote on how much it would cost to send them.

The Dynafit liners are horrible and extremely small. I wear a 27/27.5 in all other boots and couldn't get into the 27.5 ZZeus boots I have...until I put a decent liner into them. Don't be frightened by the tightness of Dynafit boots...the liners are all but useless so you're gonna have to replace them anyway. The ZZeus is pretty light and has interchangeable sole lugs.
