Touche. I am still saddened by my inability to join you, or to be short-roped to the summit by Wendigo. Strong men also cry, sir. Strong men also cry!

Nice trip report. You should come out of semi-retirement more often.

Still snowing, come on up - be in Haines tomorrow...

Nice photos - glad you posted them up!

FYI - I am the SLOWEST of our regular group of ski partners.

Strangely, this does not make me feel any better about my own limitations. What sort of stem cell / gunpowder / Aryan baby hearts / HGH smoothies are you people drinking?

You should ski with me, you wouldn't be the slowest anymore.

Great TR btw. Although a bit painful that you come up and get more pow than I've been getting. Comes with having kids I guess.

    The Dude man, nice
I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Strummer, That's a bummer, man. That's a bummer. Poop_Ghost, I will give you back your gloves sometime in the next two weeks: AFTER I HAVE POOPED IN THEM! Wendigo, I still owe you more beer.

Several naggers have told me that I am an idiot in sizing my photos. They are correct. As penance, here are a couple more.

    The Powder Road.

    Skintrack stoke.

One of the crazier aspects of this photo is that all of the terrain in view is a day tour away.

    Dropping In.

    The continuation.

More skintrack stoke with ridiculous views.

    Playing with the light/shadow line.

I like the pow from the last turn spinning in a vortex on this one.

    Pretty standard meadow traverses.

Upon arrival at the cabin where we graciously put up, the host informed us that it was an Alaskan Tradition that if guests did not bring their own firearms, then the host had to provide one. After a couple nights he might have been re-thinking that hospitality.

    Skinning above the clouds.
