    Life-Link: What happened, escpecially to their carbon poles like the AEC

    Life-link always seemed to make great stuff. Especially the Alpine Extreme Carbon Fiber (AEC™ ) -Pro Series poles.
    Seems like they were ubiquitous, classic red powder basket.

    What happened to them and why can't one find them anymore?

    I was looking for that ski pole a few years back, and found that Life-Link's AEC follow-up is the AC/BC pole with purple lettering and black baskets.
