STOP THE PRESSES - kidwoo will ride a 29er- Transition Bandit 29er
I've now received official clearance that kidwoo has resolved professional contractual obligations to guest-review a Transition Bandit 29er with me. IMO this is almost as momentous an occasion as tailing the GSA down A-line!
kidwoo please contact me to let me know what carbon rims you want on the Bandit 29er and what shade of components you desire to fit your current riding regalia.
This will be part of MTBR's shootout of the Transition Bandit 26 vs the Transition Bandit 29er.
Hugs and kisses.

The review must include dirtjumping... everyone wants to know how 29ers handle that.

Braved the border to return the test Transition Bandit and get a Bandit 29er. Stock build kit just to keep it honest except for Ardent 2.4 rear (replacing the 2.2). No Reverb Comes in at 32lbs. My own Fox 34.
Planned switcheroos for later - Ritchey carbon weight weenie wheels. Maybe try some of the new Maxxis proto 29er rubber. Chromag seat and Raceface seatpost with some layback to get the TTT to 23" or so.
Chris moves so fast building bling he's a blur

hey lee, if you've got em both and want a good back to back test trail, I'd recommend lumpy's epic, mega tech, steep punchy climbs, tight switchbacks, and tonnes of ledgy rocks and roots!

I rode the BAndit up Happy to Nimby to Stimulus. Might do the same for the Bandit 29er and the Norco Sight both of which I have to ride this year. But I think those higher trails are still under snow and I'm kinda still stoked to ski. You should probably try this thing out at some point.

Lots of cool pictures followed by lots of boring numbers.

People geek out over the numbers though. If I don't put in numbers the keyboard riding crowd would have a conniption.
Here's a video to make it better

This, my friends, is what the Mayans were talking about when predicting the 2012 end of the world.

I take it the front wheel/toe overlap closeness is exaggerated by the lens too?
