Highanxiety and I froze our asses off waiting in line @ G2 but we were rewarded with the 2nd gondola & fresh tracks down Climax. Here is my gaper report, check it...

    Obviously worth the wait, powerwhore7!
We saw the line at McCoy out the door and onto the snow and went for the loading at the bottom, came in under the gondi and snaked over under top of the world. I wanted to hit paranoids first but got the 'don't look for surf when you have surf' lecture cause we could see where we were going. But even though we got to the noids a run or two later, it still skied damn nice for so many tracks having already been laid down.
We don't make the snow. We just make it more enjoyable.

I, and I am sure others, have plenty of BAF invites for this year. Just plan ahead, you need to get tickets the night before, and have enough time to get the invites emailed, etc.

So what date are we doing the Mini? Hopefully April 19-22 as I am booked to be in Mammoth then.

Do we even need a poll?

We always need a poll, how could anything get done without a poll?

Sounds like you just officially called it.

You made an executive decision (hence why you are the head of a intergalactic ski company,) now go back to the first post and state it in unequivocal terms that the Mammoth Mini will be April 19-22.

How many BaF's do you get with an MVP pass? That's how many I'll have available. Haven't been to Mammoth all season. Looking forward to breaking my cherry.

^^^Theoretically four, each good for up to three days, but rumor has it they are allowing unlimited numbers this year to get people on the hill.

Bummer. I am driving back from Palm Springs on the 21st. If I can sneak away, maybe I'll get up there for Thurs/Fri.

Otherwise, I'll be hitting Baldy or top of the tram if any of ya are down that way earlier in the week.

I think I have family visiting around the same time so the mini is unlikely for me but breaking out for a morning to the tram or baldy might be possible. Lack of snow will probably be the challenge. I also have some boards you can borrow if your visit coincides with a good swell during that week.

Bumping this off page 3. Hope the temps stay cool, we get a little more snow and I will see the mags there.

Whoops! Just seeing this thread now.
Not getting online (at work) so much now.

    I'll read through later.
An earlier Mini than the others, then? (No Mother's Day clashes?)

Cinders & me *should* be able to make it. Need to check in with Sinecure, unless he's fully loaded already.

We might try and stay with Mammoth-Dave (again), but otherwise will need some Condo/Hotel action.
Please keep that in mind if you need some more bodies to fill up your rental.

(Page 3? Man, times have changed. Where are the Out-of-State/International Maggots of yesteryear?)

I may have some space available in a small house for a low fee. Definitely nothing nice, but warmer than camping and cheaper than a condo/hotel.

PSA: If you are 100% sure you are attending, you can buy $69 tickets online, but must purchase by today.

Looks like I could be in for Thurs/Fri. Anyone else planning to be up around that time? Low funds will have me looking at mostly touring, with maybe one day inbounds. What does a BAF cost tis year?

If that falls through, Piggity, I'd be up for top of tram meadow skipping just to get away from the pool. Or maybe I'll do both.
