That kind of sounds like every mini I've made it to.

Skipped Rafters last night after doing the early shift at Clocktower. Less partying meant more skiing. I think I saw Piggity once but failed to ask about Alaska. Pics from morning laps on 22 with JLA415. I dunno why but that seemed to be a good place to pee. Mammoth looking pretty brown for it being only April. Splat, let's still talk binding placement on 183s. Good times this weekend.

JBOD and I hit those runs off 22 on Friday. They were freshly groomed, soft and basically trackless in the sun and we just let 'em run to canyon lodge for some great fast skiing. Later there was only one other group of guys on it. They were all lined up at the top of 22 for a picture when I slowly skied past them all proclaiming "I'm the best skier on the mountain!" I think they got it and we were kinda wondering if there was a multiplier on the gnar points for getting the whole group in one fell swoop.
We don't make the snow. We just make it more enjoyable.

Were you the one i said "nice skis" to at the top of the Gondi on Sunday? I was going to ask if you were training for Alaska, but was running behind a non-mag friend.

If you saw me Saturday, i was on new 183 Fats with a FKNA sticker...the guy with the brown Alpine hoody...go figure.

That was me. Guilty as charged. Addicted to skiing...and loving Mammoth. There was a part of me that just wanted to say "fuck it" and just stay in Mammoth until closing day...

So bummed I didn't make it, sounds like a blast -- as usual. I haven't been on snow once this season, a first for me. It's a drag and must be rectified.

Larry01, sorry I missed you, mang. My knee has come a long ways since that day.
G2A - gimme a call, Mark. I'm thinking about throwing some dukes on some all carbon 183s for touring this summer.

Ha the Rafters was a blast. That band killed it. Ya know when you walk in and they nail Social D (Ball an Chain) that it's gonna be a good night. I guess I'll have to bring the neighbors a plate of cookies and a twelver of Tecate.

    Day time was fun too.

I have always wanted to be at this event and never managed to fit it in my schedule. This year, I almost pulled the trigger on a last minute plane ticket post my AK cancellation but hesitated. He who hesitates is lost, I guess.

All that training for Alaska wasted, twice.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

Skiing with everyone on Saturday was a blast. Hanging with Big Tim, Twins, Spats, Splat and others that night was even more Fun. But the absolute kicker for the weekend was watching my 4 year old daughter get her first real turns ever. She definitely likes french fries much more than pizza. Thanks mammoth ski school, you guys rock.

    A Missed Mini

While its hard to beat Eastside sun, snow, and BBQ with the Maggots, I did have a great time hanging out with my son and taking some pics of drummer Nia Lovelis.

Fun show , and this girl has so much energy on stage, the only thing I could imagine comparing it to would probably be Splat on the dance floor at Rafters
