I have held out hope until the end, but alas I can't get away from work. So much for being the boss and being able to do what I want. Fucken employees

Next year I'll meet up with you kooks now that I am back in SoCal. I missed Mammoth, I'll take it inbounds over Whistler inbounds most days. I am done with greybird for now.

Tell him to stop pocket dialing me! And tell him we finally got some snow in Colorado, so I'm not even jealous.

ps - I'll be there next year. Planning on it.

Piggity, look for Mags at the Mill. Splat had a few pairs of Bros/Lhasa Pows leaning up against the glass, so you should spot him easy. I will have a white shell and green pants on, so say hi and we can do a few laps.

I saw the crew over on Chair 5 but I was on a mission of my own today, despite the phone trying to screw me by lowering the vertical skied on each run by 150-250 feet

I'm pretty sure I actually got shorted pretty severely. For instance, mammoth lists chair 5 as 1066 vert feet, but most of my runs there registered as ~830 vert feet. Same held for all the other chairs. I pretty much went all over the place, but a lot of runs on chair 5 since the small bumps were awesome and the chair is so fast. For someone who doesn't care about variety and just wants the most vert, go for chair 5.

Edit: I did get shorted since I wasn't stopping at the bottom of the runs long enough. The GPS generally turned off about 200-250 feet up the chair, so I lost that amount of vert on the runs. Happened on about 40 of my runs, so my actual total was much closer to 80,000.

Managed to catch some chair 5 laps with the gang today but same as skeeze was having too much fun ripping high speed laps. Dinner at Toomeys seemed to be the theme. Clocktower Cellar for brews. More tomorrow...only took one pic today, sorry Sinecure.

    Spats skiing Hangman's:

The snow was so good we returned again...

...yes the gondola will take you on the way to Hangman's...

The choke was starting to get a bit chocolate chippy by mid afternoon, but the surfable sluff below the choke makes it worthwhile.

wow. Winter might be over in some places but it isn't in Mammoth. Great times skiing with rippin mags. Salted runs stayed fast and we chased the turn around the mountain, catching the best glop just as it unfroze. Forgot my camera Friday and Saturday, gave up trying to get on the hill today due to a massive hangover. Mountain had a good crowd, the sun was shining and full on spring skiing was had. I haven't laughed so fucking hard in years, as our condo crew just ruled for having fun. We shut down Rafters last nite after totally taking over the dance floor with a kickass band that cranked it up for us. Women in the bar from high school girls to cougars were coming out to dance with our crew and it turned into a full tilt screamer at every level. The party continued until 2:30 at the condo, where the local residents got somewhat perturbed and were still talking about our wild this morning. I couldn't get on my skis this am after last nite, so I drove home once I felt like my demolished brain could handle the drive. Holy shit we killed it at every level.

edit: From Rafters last night. Blurry iphone pics of mags and future mags...
