    MPC #80 - VOTING - Energy - Ends 3/3

    MPC #80 - Energy
    Poll ends March 3, 2012

Sorry for the delay. I'm on the road and internet is spotty at best. It wasn't easy picking 5. Some really great shots were left out. smokan's ski shot, mtchams kayak beer photo, UCL's lemur(?) heat lamp shot, and schralp's waterfall shots to name a few honorable mentions. They were all good though. Now it's up to you.

    Schralph

    Outabounds

    Chainsaw Willie

    Lonnie

    Fuzz

I like Fuzz's image the best as an image, and yet I think Willie's captures the connotation of the theme and is the most creative execution. Tough vote.

What did we do last time there was a tie?

Maybe someone should make a post in Skiing/Snowboard or The Padded Room to draw in some more voters?

Not too stoked on having to chose between these two. I just got off work and will need a minute to think about it. I'll have a decision up in a couple hours.

    Coin toss.

Of course the rules don't specify that you have to select one of the ones that tied! lol.

Funny you say that. Schralph would win it in that case .

It's a tough choice but I'm going to have to give it to ChainsawWillie. I'm always amazed by Outabounds' orb shots, this one was especially mind-blowing. Willie's shot fits the theme on several levels as well as being a good capture. Just my opinion.

I'm honored to get to host this little chapter of the MPC. Thanks!

    You're up Willie

I agree. Willie really deserves it for nailing the theme so well and setting up a killer contraption to make it work.

    Congrats

    yeah willie!

thanks for the honorable mentions guys, that image was taken on a day we were shooting engagement photos in SF (that's actually Mach Looney, hope he doesn't mind the maggot callout - congrats!) and we can across that insane mural. The colors and imagery were too good to pass up!

One of the best MPCs I've ever seen!
