Classic prose from DeathVan to restore the faith

    Powdertracks in the Snow

One night I had a dream--
I dreamed I was skiing AK Spines with the GSA
and across the sky flashed scenes from my GoPro.
For each scene I noticed two sets of ski tracks,
one belonged to me and the other to the GSA.
When the dual GoPro final edit of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the ski tracks in the pow.
I noticed that many times down the spines of my heli trip,
there was only one set of ski tracks.
I also noticed that it happened at the very gnarliest
and most puckered times in my run.
This really bothered me and I questioned the GSA about it.
"GSA, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you would ski with me all the way,
but I have noticed that during the most troublesome runs in my heli trip
there is only one set of ski tracks.
"I don't understand why in times when I needed you most,
    you should leave me."
The GSA replied, "My precious, precious maggot,
I love you and I would never, never leave you
during your times of death cookies and sastrugi.
When you saw only one set of ski tracks,
it was then that I carried you, cradled in my harness."

This might be the best thing ever... Thank you.

A guy lays it out there; packs his bag and ankle weights to pull off the whole Uggs look, gets his gear to the gym in the shitty PDX weather, probably raining outside and all, and then claims it while kickstanding it on the stair climber and you don't give him respect?

Your denial is strong, your assumptions are wrong. This is not all inside baseball shit, laugh at someone behind their back. This is fucking real.

i'm talking about the prose. I wouldn't look twice at pdx man or your gsa ridiculee. if that's the funniest, most interesting, weirdest thing anybody's seen worth "respecting" then by all means get another set of lawyers involved.

I passed a drug test today. Then I read this.

It is perhaps the best day in my life.

I'm inspired by the GSA and disciples spook. I'm just surprised someone raised under these same lights is not. I'm actively looking for ankle weights, but you just "wouldn't look twice" huh?

Maybe you should just peruse the forumz somewhere else on TGR, or AZ.

I really hope your thrunting doesn't affect our winter in the NW. And stay in the right lane on the way up to the hill mr go pro hater

no, ankle weights wouldn't make me look twice. i worked out in gyms of all classes for a lot of 30+ years. i've seen all kinds of weird and never once thought, damn, i wish i had my iphone so i could honor this guy on the internet.

weekday only. no need to stay in the right lane. but don't worry, I know when to get out of the way.

and if I can thrunt the weather in the region you should be on your knees honoring me instead, bitch.

^ Good for you going to the gym like that 30+ years and focusing on one's self and body. Get outside and just maybe you would stop sliding heal side down the hill.

I have observed a few occasions where you have called people out based on their approach, but what is different is that you come from a place that would like to stop the action. Most here are encouraging the action.

the gym was prep for the outdoors, among other things. i can't really comment on your observation because I don't know what you're referring to. action for action's sake doesn't make it worthwhile or ethical.

Another season is upon us and your Gaper legions stand ready.

We have trained, each in our way. In the gyms we have trained, on the bikes we have trained, on the beaches and in the bars, we have trained.

New weapons fill our living quarters testing our relationships but always close at hand and ready to be marshaled, higher DINs, more lethal rocker, raiments of bright and terrifying hues; we await only your signal.

Lead us now GSA, lead us to slay the pow wherever and whenever it may be found.

you're still all moran bitches though, especially MTM who gets overwhelmed by Blurred's magnificence every now and then and goes all whiney emo.

My friend took these pictures while on vacation in Tahiti. She doesn't know about GSA, but she found it odd enough to snap some photos.
