Thread: Desperate Times call for Desperate Measures

Last year the total snowfall at Squaw Valley was over 800"... It was a banner year. I hade never seen anything like it and i may never see a season that matches it.

In pitiful contrast to last year, Squaw's snow total this season has yet to reach the 100" mark. It has been brutal!!!

I know, I know, I am not alone. It has been a rough season for everyone, but this post is not just another "NO-SNOW" rant. That story is all just preface for fact that last month my buddy Jon and I decided to stop bitching and do something about it... Here is a video link showing what we did:

Snow looks great.
I couldn't hear what was being said after gracefully bouncing off of that tree but I'm guessing it was something like, "damn, I wonder if that could have been avoided had I not been trying to make open mouth faces at this here pole mounted gowprow?"
