Considering more people are fleeing every week, I would say it is tiresome, murderously despicable too.

Mali? Shitshow of major proportions, and yes fired up more lately (48hrs). No one knows who is "in charge" as if there is even such a thing down there. Arabs are trying to run things too, and reuters says it is al Qaeda.

The blues has always been about taking your problems and turning them into something you can dance to, drink to and fuck to.
We're certainly not a blues band in any kind of purest sense, but to me Rock and Roll has always had it's roots in that tradition.

I seems you might not have heard the new news regarding the Myans. They didn't have an extra day for leep year so according to their calander, 2012 has been and gone - quite a few years ago.

Edit: or maybe not. Once I finally looked it up there seems to be a lot of conflicting information.

Our leaders must like it for some reason even though they likely know how worthless is it than we do. We must be paying for the whole shit sandwhich for some reason. I guess while it doesn't do shit typically, we sometimes are allowed by concensus to do what we want and it looks better to the whole world. That being said, it is a huge waste of money and a joke that we allow our enemies like the Iranian kooks in our country a half hour after they say, "Death to America." Yah I know the UN is on somewhat neutral ground and everybody has diplomatic immunity but some of the kooks should get a swift kick in the ass and shown the door to their plane back home instead of allowed to speak at liberal colleges. It's not like Iran has a good background in treating out citizens well.

WMDs back in the news. Where did they come form?
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

They've had them for some time, in 07 a mustard gas plant exploded killing 10 or so people. It was in defense type new outlets. Also remember they had a nuclear reactor that the Israeli's bombed.

They have VX, Sarin, Tabun, anthrax, plague, tularemia, botulinium, smallpox, aflotoxin, cholera, ricin and camelpox. It is believed the Russians helped them install these into SCUD delivery systems they got from NK/Soviet Union.

They would be very stupid to use them.

From the North, East, South or West? It's one of those known unknowns more'n likely.

    Maybe on a train?

Jill Dekker, a bio-defence expert based in Brussels, has reported a string of sinister incidents including the parking of a hearse outside her house

Mysterious': The hearse which Jill Dekker followed and photographed
    Seem pretty legit to me.

Mostly its based off an educated guess. They have camel pox which I believe Iraq was a big fan off because they believe the local population would mostly be immune, so they have some capability with the orthopox virus. They have long time ties with Russia who absolutely could do it and Jill Dekker seems to think they have at least a small amount. Jill Dekker might be a little crazy but that doesn't mean she's wrong, still I certainly could be wrong as I don't truly know.

Put small pox on the possible list I guess.

    Smallpox? Really?

I'd be more worried about those chemical weapons falling into the wrong hands. Hopefully the major powers are working on contingency plans to secure them through direct action if they are in danger of falling into the hands of terrorist groups.

Let's not forget manpads systems either. Couple of videos floating around on the internet of rebel groups with SA-7's in their hands. No way to tell they are legit and operational, but it is worrisome.

That said, I would love it if the regime fell -- talk about kicking Iran square in the nuts!

What do you think is going to happen after the regime falls? From my perspective the Middle East is about to explode!!

    You in Kurdistan still, Dave?
If it explodes, which way do you see the brunt of the explosion heading, Saudi Arabia?

I'm gonna be an asshole for a second and say: LET IT EXPLODE!

Sorry if that pisses you off, but that's how I feel.

Besides, if you think about it, letting a bunch of Shia and Sunni whackjobs kill each other is a pretty good outcome in my book.

Who said it is going to piss me off. It is a lot more then just the Shia and the Sunnis. The Kurds and the Central Government are starting to stand off against each other and are looking like they are going to battle each other conventionally with artillery, infantry, and tanks. Biggest problem is the Kurds have been really working the Turks for support which Baghdad hasn't helped by pissing off the Turks. Baghdad is heavily influenced by the Iranians. This whole mess is going to involve more then just locally. Would be different if they didn't have so much black stuff in the ground but I have a feeling the Middle East will be the Balkans of this century and are going to touch off something way worse then we have seen recently.
