    Maggot Giant Dealers - 2011 Anthem X 29er?

Any maggot Giant dealers on here?

Are there any 2011 Anthem X 29ers available?

I am in the market and just want to check before I drop the cash on a '12.

    Thanks,

    Nick

I hear that last years was the one size fits all option too

popular bike, and frame is a full carry over from 11 to 12. Odds are you wont find much of a deal on them

Where do you live? Here in Portland Bike n Hike had some listed on their site http://bikenhike.com/closeout-list.html Awhile back they did their 40% off all last years bikes deal, maybe you can call 'em and sweet talk 'em
Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.

Thanks for the heads-up... I just called the Seattle shop and they didn't seem to want to budge on the price. They said the sale was for their 40th anniversary only, and that the prices listed are the lowest they'll go.

If anyone has a line on a used Anthem 29er (M or L), let me know.

Edit- looking for one of last year's "3" model for around $1500, or a used "2".

Might call and see what they have in stock, then find a local maggot to stop in and make the purchase.

A little birdy told me there are no 2011's left directly from Giant. Not saying that your LBS won't have one sitting on their floor..

^^^ There's a local shop, Derby Bicycle Center in Thornton, CO, that has a few '11's in stock. They have M and L in the 1 and 2, and a medium 3 as well. $1800 for the 3, not sure on the price for the other two.

Here in Portland, $1900 for the 3, $2400 for the 2. Down from $2300 and $2900. Looking at a Medium 2 and XL 3.

All the prices seemed to be about the same in the west. btw, the person whom I spoke with at go-ride said they do not ship Giant bikes. That may be true for other dealers as well. the 2011 '1' seemed to have better components than the 2012. I don't know if it's true for '2' or '3'.

telecp- it looks like Giant has slightly switched model numbers... for 2011, they had the 1,2, and 3. For 2012, they have the 0,1, and 2. I'm assuming the 2011-1 is equivalent to the 2012-0.

Call Cole Sport in Park City, Ut. They are a Giant only dealer and may have some demos sitting around, or maybe even a new one. 435-649-4806.
