    OH CANADA! (WC spoiler alert)

    Hudec 1st, Guay 3rd, Thomsen 5th. Pretty fucking awesome. Jan by more than 1/2 sec. Thomsen skiing out of 50th spot to push through to 5th. Two guys on the podium holding the flag with oh Canada playing....don't see that every day. Done once before in the 90s with Ralf Socher, Cary Mullen and I forget who else.
    It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy

    And just to add a shout to Brady Leman for WC win in skier cross at Blue Mt.

    So since I personally know 2 guys standing on top of WC podiums in one weekend can I hang with the cool kids now?

    Should also mention Marielle Thompson with gold and Chris DelBosco with silver. Pretty dominant weekend in two disciplines.

    A whole bunch of other shit went on with speed skating, cross country, freestyle, bobsleigh and go knows what else. Suffice to say a lot of people learning the words to oh Canada this weekend.
