She was a real inspiration to everyone in this sport, so sorry to see her go. All the best to her friends and family. What a tragedy. If any solace can be taken at least she got to spend her life doing what she truly enjoyed.

Heartbreaking news. I hope her family and friends are able to find the strength to get through this dark time. Such a terrible loss, so young.

Oh damn it. No no no no no. Such an inspiration to skiing. I had really thought she would pull through. Don't know why I thought that when so many others have not, but I did sincerely think that. May she float eternally in that apex of a big 3. Or bounce eternally out of a big pow turn. May she have an abundance of pole tap greetings and off-balance, stoked, post run high fives.

:-( My girls (7 and 5) have an autographed poster on their wall....they often tell me they want to ski like her... Very sad.

What kind of nightmare is this? I cannot comprehend this on so many levels.

It's beyond me what Rory and her family and close friends are suffering.

    Tragic RIP
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Thoughts are with her family and friends.

Too many lives lost lately. May you find endless pow turns and a perfect pipe Sarah. You will be greatly missed.
