Yeah, but you got to admit Aldo's skis were tits. I beat the shit out of them on the crap at Mammoth over Christmas and they are still going strong. I will be sad when they are used up. That said, my wife is lovin' the US of FKNA 183s she is on. Life is good when the wife is happy.
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot

Hangfire Skis, made in Loveland Colorado. I do not know anything about them, but they look pretty nice on their website. Their skis are not available in large lengths though. http://www.hangfireskis.com/

Who actually makes their own cores is what I want to know.
Are people actually laminating up cores here in the states, or even in ski factories?
splat?No longer stuck.

Hell, yeah, factories here make their own cores. But we don't. I outsource to a core company in Seattle. It ain't a big deal to make cores, but it takes time and space.

Splat,
Not trying to tell you guys your bidness, but I think Made in the USA (or US of FKNA) should be one of the first things that smacks the viewer in the eyeball when they visit your site.
That goes for all the other US manufactured brands out there too.
I don't know why, but saying my skis are made in the US is one of my favorite parts of chairlift discussions when people inquire about my skis. That, and telling them I'm the best skier on the mountain.

I didnt realize there were so many smaller companies making skis in the states. I will try to keep the thread up to date with the manufacturing location and website for each company.
I am more interested in companies that actually manufacture their products in the states, where they get their materials from is less important being it would probably be impossible to sourch everything from the US.
Also, I would like to make note of what what companies have ties to TGR maggots. So give me a heads up on this too. I will try and update what I have later tonight.

Shaggy's Copper Country Skis - Boyne City, MI. Looks like they have some sweet skis. They also make their own cores
Bluehouse - SLC. The only one made in the states is the new Precinct. All others in China
Also, since when is Pemberton and Whistler in 'Merica? Sure NORTH America, but we're talking 'Merica which is the best America.

Ya, I wasn't originally interested in the Canadian stuff, but since people listed them I will probably just make a separate list. Seams like there are quite a few Canadian people here anyways.

Has anybody here heard of Orogeny skis?
A pair came into our shop in Vancouver last year they owner was
some Alaskan that had a buddy starting to make skis. They were
actually really nicely made too. The ski I saw was kinda along the lines of a
On3p Wrenegade. What do you mean why do I have duct tape on my skis!?! It improves edge hold, increases pop, adds durability, and most importantly, boosts horsepower by like 30%... what? your skis don't have horsepower?
