    How stiff are your boots?

I blew a longue on my full-tilts and was thinkig of going up to the #8 frem the #6. The number #6 with Intuition PowerWrap Plug's and WC booster straps have some give to them but the flex feel very progressive. I'm trying to decide if I should jump up to the #8 since I have to replace them anyway.

After years of oldschool stiff boots, I switched to a Salomon Falcon Gun (~95 salomon flex). My tree and bump skiing improved dramatically. I was willing to deal with the softness while charging because I thought extra stiffness would be bad news.

Recently I got some 130flex Salomon ghosts. I'm not sure if its the ghost itself, but the extra stiffness is very nice. Its easier to access the tips of bigger skis like 191 Bros.

I say go for it, especially with a "progressive" boot like the FT.

I highly doubt an 8 tongue would be too much for you. If you buy it and decide it is, I guarantee you will find someone who will gladly take it off your hands. Get after it.

Loving my 130 Langes. Huge step up from my old Tecnica Icons. Go stiff.

Second on the go stiff. Or you could buy the #10 and I'll swap ya for a minty brown #8. (Kidding...unless you're in the Seattle area). But I am 5'11" 165# and thinking about moving up to the #10.

Shorty, i'm 5'6 and 170 and use Lange Freeride 130 flex...touring boots are factors which say 130 but are not as stiff as the Langes.

Moved from Nordica Dobermann 150s to Rossi ZB/ZB Plugs (130ish flex) and I'm enjoying having a bit more give and snow feel.

Cool... thanks. I'll go #8... no need for a #10 at my weight.

Lindsay Vonn could buy and sell me on the mountain, and I'm man enough to admit that.

Got some #8 tongues for $50 + tax at my local shop and they already had them in stock... I'm pleased.
