Stab in the dark - Wedding Photog references - Pittsburgh, PA
Hello,
Getting married next October 6th back where I grew up in Pittsburgh. I have been looking for a wedding photographer, and it seems REALLY expensive. The future Mrs. really only cares about her dress, the DJ, and the photog.
Does anyone know anyone that is good? Looking for more candid shots/journalistic, mixed with a couple standard poses.
Looking for a fully digital option...hoping to spend less then $2,500...would love to spend $1,500, but finding one that even has a decent website seems IMPOSSIBLE for that price.
Also...why is it that the cheaper the photog...the fatter the brides?
Thanks!"We had nice 3 days in your autonomous mountain realm last weekend." - Tom from Austria (the Rax ski guy)

There is some sick mountain biking in western, pa/west virginia and some good rafting!

We're certainly not a blues band in any kind of purest sense, but to me Rock and Roll has always had it's roots in that tradition.

gretch6364,
A little late to the thread, but if you're still looking for a photographer I may be able to help you out -- or at least give you a name to look into. That is, if you're still looking for a photographer 6 months later (and the wedding is still on!).
I'll have to do some digging or ask my wife if she remembers, but our photographer was probably somewhere between $1,500 and $2,500 three years ago, but I don't remember for sure.
We did a lot of standard shots, but my wife's sister also used these guys, and they went the journalistic route. I actually he think he did a better job with them than with ours! Also did the all-digital album where the pictures are part of the page (like a book/magazine).
Let me know if you want me to look into the name for you, or shoot me a PM.
BTW, what part of da 'Burgh did you grow up in?
