Honesty, in comparison to my Billygoats. The Magic J is a weak twitchy bitch, but I need a bit more time on it.

Fuck yeah the 5.75 year bump. Lusted after these for years, finally snagged a pair of leftovers in 190. Anyone own them now? Owned them recently-ish? Thoughts on mount point- just go recommended? try as a might still a bit of an old school driver of skis.

On my pair of 190cm Magic J, the manufacturer line is at -4.3cm from measured TrueCenter. But my favorite position is -3.1cm from measured TrueCenter, which is +1.2cm from the manufacturer line.

But it's all personal tastes. If you know your fave position on one or more of the ski models below, then maybe you can map your mount position tastes to my tastes, and then maybe you can forecast your fave position for the ski models you've never tried.

If I can sell my Protests I’ll probably replace them with a pair of Magic Js, curious time see what everyone thinks of them. I don’t really need another pair of >120mm wise skis since I have Pon2oons and Spatulas (new to me in May), but then again those are both >130 so something between 120 and 130 would be rad.
