Damn right. The way she's standing on her skis shows a lot of things going right that you don't often see at that age.

Oldest of the littles won her season ending race today. 7 years old, would have taken 2nd all the way up to the 8 year old boys or won girls outright!

Sage wanted a JH cake for her 7th birthday. My wife and stepson transformed a red velvet cake into this. I think they did pretty good!

Can't even begin to imagine that. My heart goes out to that family in a huge way. The family doesn't by any chance happen't run an airport shuttle business....?

Took daughter out on a beautiful Spring April Fools day.. last couple years shes been uninterested in skiing. I ask she says no..this year she's been begging me. Quick trip to 2nd Tracks Sports in Millcreek cause she outgrew her damned boots. $21 later and we were on our way to Alta.

props to the all coaches at solitude this year especially the 7yr old’s big mountain coach josh. always pushing him and keeping it fun. the man in the middle below took 7th and 5th at sundance and brighton in the gs and 2nd in the downhill at solitude in 7-9 yr old class in a couple races, but think he’s more stoked he landed his first 540 last sunday. great to see the next generation of rippers in this thread.

The mini tram is from the Jackson Hole Resort Store. We actually bought it a number of years ago for my stepson and brought it out for the cake cutting. I am pretty sure they still sell them.

Cedar was a young member of our mountain tribe that has made his last turns. He was a wonderful boy that we will miss very much. We are all struggling right now and we need each other more than ever. Our children don't know what to do and we don't know what to say to them. So we tell them the truth and talk and share and love.

Light a candle for Cedar tonight and think about his mama Lara, daddy Nate and little brother Cash.

I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.
