Photos from Banff - Snow, elk, and mountains.
Just got back from spending my honeymoon in Banff. I will be returning as soon as possible.
No. I didn't stay here, but it's still pretty impressive to check out. Banff Fairmont Springs Hotel
Columbia River up in Canada. Kinda cool to see for somebody that is used to seeing the river in Oregon.

That sure is a purty area. Gotta get up there one of these days.
What lens(es) were you using?...Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain...

I just checked this on my work computer and discovered that all the images are cropped funny. 19" monitor at work, 23" monitor at home. Didn't realize the advertisements would scruntch everything down. Thought they would just push out the side of the browser on smaller screens. What's the ideal width to re-size these too?

Very nice shots! Banff is such a cool place-looks like they are in need of snow too.
(some of these look a bit dark on my monitor)

Mountain Magic Equipment? I hit a good rock at Sunshine and dropped in their shop around 8pm to see if they could help me out. Nearly a core shot, and right up to the edge. I forgot the tech's name, but I remember the guy at the register was named Dean? Both were super nice. The tech welded it together for me that night. I was back on my sticks the next day.

ahhh, what a nice place. Thanks for the images. I have it on my road trip fantasy to come in to Banff from the US and then head over Rogers Pass to Golden, Kelowna, etc. before working my way out to the coast and back into Washington._______________________________________________
