A little sequence from Bridger on Sunday. Escaped from Schlasman's around noon via Boundary Chute. We weren't the first ones down it but it was still fat.

We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

Bozeman has the cheap bus, so there is that. I would recommend just staying in Big Sky somewhere if you can find a spot though. Waking up at 8am instead of 6am is great.

P.S. Bozeman definitely has better apre-activities.

West Yellowstone will be closer but the drive from West can be a bit sketchier

Triple chair and Dakota were good today. Dakota lasted awhile, but triple went super fast, not surprised though given the holidays.

Whitewater is a good cheap bet. You can also camp in the Pony lot these days if that's how you roll.

So fucking good all week back there.

Huge releases this morning on the dictators. Per usual patrol made sure Marx was safe by way of skiing it to themselves all afternoon....

dude i cant tell you if the one hour drive would be worth it, "worth it" is a matter of perception. just like acceptable risk or snow quality. what i can tell you is that this picture was taken on 12/23/13. and it was deep. also, not taken at big sky.

Hell yes it is worth it. This place is never crowded.

Last I heard the Huntley still had rooms available on New Years for $139 that include a lift ticket.

You can get a room at the Quality Inn in Belgrade for $58. Comes with a real nice breakfast too. A bit closer than Bozeman.

How is Discovery skiing? It looks like they have had half the Snow of Bridger. I'm kind of balking at the $99 lifty to Big sky, but I'm also balking at the extra drive to Disco from Bozo and the rocks to be found there.

Disco was skiing pretty good until it got warm Wed, and today now it's pretty thin. Backs about half open but real sketchy.
