    Canon 17-40L - Mint

    I have a mint, tack sharp copy of Canon's 17-40L F4. Comes with box, bag, hood and UV filter. Overlaps too much with what I already have.

    I've been thinking the same thing, but it seems like everything I read says the 17-40 is as good or in some cases better than the 16-35, which makes me balk at pulling the trigger...

    I have the 16-35 and it's hands down better, at least the copies I had of each lens.

    My 'interest in the 2.8' has everything to do with the 2.8 part and not which lens works better at every other iris setting.
