21012-13 Gear what have you seen and what are the rumors

Yes its a bit late but what have we seen. Yesterday while skiing the bird I saw a ski from dynastar that had tip rocker tip and tail taper looked. Had tip rocker and no tail rocker looked to be between 188 and 190 ski looked like it was in the 120 underfoot flat tail not rely any tail kick.. Also think I saw some soul/Squad 7s from rossignol. So whats have you seen or heard besides the skis that have there own threads.
I know that Atomic will replace the coax with the alabi more tip rocker and a bit of taper with some metal.
If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

Hear line is totally re-doing the influence 115 and it is going to be bad. Not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good.

I'm really hoping that Rossi makes a 195cm S3 or Super 3. I wrote some emails with no response. Here's to hoping. I love the skis, but 186cm is very short for me.

(It's what I would like, not necessarily what anyone else on the forum would like)

Sounds like La Sportiva has a 95 underfoot "Lo5" and 117 underfoot "Hang5":

I have seen a lot. Not for me to say at this point. Sorry. If someone posts something, I can confirm..such as the new Influence 115.

    OK... I'll give you something...

*Full Tilts will be offering a rubber sole variation.
*Nordica will be expanding the Sidecountry line over to the woman's side
*Tecnica will be calling all the side country boots "Cochise", Cochise 90, 100, 110,120 and Pro. No more Crossfire and Bushwacker.
*Lange XT, side country variation of the RX/RS line in both 97 & 100 last.

Needless to say, "side country" is the small segment that everyone is trying to get a piece of.

Please tell me it is dynafit compatible and with swappable blocks? I've been dying for someone to release a tongue boot with swappable blocks. So many double overlap boots (factors, methods, titans, zzeus, cochise, etc.), but no tongue boots. Someone please make one already.

^saw these w/ lace up inner liner and walk mode. Understand production models will not have the lace-up. All other boots looked the same and did not see any skis.

I'd kill a man for a Krypton Pro with some rubber on the sole (and no i don't want a virus)
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

Is this was they are actually doing, or is this your suggestion for what they should do?

    Some things I heard recently:

G3 will bring a pow weapon. Some full rocker to hybrid-style with proper waist for deep pow.
Additionally, there'll be two new Tele binders (a touring an an alpine version) and they'll release split-board climbing skins

Other rumors say, that Fritschi is working on a revolutionary new binding. Maybe something game-changing as the first Diamir or Freeride were? Or a flop like their tele binders?

There was a mention in a Swedish ski magazine about a Look and Plum binding collaboration. It did not say when, or how reputably their source was, but could be interesting if true.

Heard they were trying to negotiating a licensing agreement. The million dollar question is it a global distribution agreement and does it include all the parent brands of the Rossignol group.

-Dakine will have 2 models of airbag packs
-Mammut will have airbags in every ski pack in the line
-also heard of the new Dalbello Virus... didn't hear many details, but did hear that it will drop in price significantly
-TwentyTwo Designs will have a non-touring version of the Axl, which will be cheaper than the Hammerhead

Great news on the beefed up Maestrale. Sounds like a boot I may need to own.
