    FFFUUUUUUUUU!!!

I woke up with a splitting headache this morning, spent most of the day on the couch. Still feeling kinda shitty and can't get to sleep.

Glad to see y'all had a great day. Now what am I gonna do with all this tequila?

Good times at Alpental today with what was perhaps the best Spring skiing this season.
Butt loads of snow, (which corned up very nice earlyish) blue bird, and laps with a bunch of you k00ks.
Fun skiing and I would post pictures but I lost my camera somewhere in the gun barrel zone on our second or third lap through.
Sad pants, I really liked that little Panasonic Lumix, it was a great little camera.
If anyone happened across it, please hit me with a PM.
Can't believe they are closing Alpental with this much snow on the ground, it's insane.
Look forward to skiing with a lot of you down at Crystal this Spring.

One of the highlights of the gathering was the patroller lady that caught her pack strap on the chair in front of a 100 people. Talk about a bad time for that to happen.

As much as I would have loved to see the area extend one (or a few) more weekend(s), props for keeping it open to the 6th.
A big thank you to the management and all the employes for a great season!
    W00t!
Sad to see you close, but also looking forward to hitting the padded seats again next Winter.

Closing any ski area with the amount of snow Alpental currently has is a crime against humanity.

No doubt, skis still dragging on the snow above Rollen Cliffs on the last day. I know they want to drive traffic down to the Gondola at Xtal, but it's too bad they are not committed to keeping the area closest to Seattle-Metro open a little longer, especially since the forecast into next week is looking prime and the ample crowds that showed up both Saturday and Sunday.

What a blast of a weekend though, May pow Saturday morning then prime sunshine and crazy good spring skiing Sunday. Big crowd up top for that last lapand a crazy number of skiers thru Elevator gate to end the day/year... padded seats served me well for another season.

I'm so glad i was able to rally up there late and catch a few season ending laps with some the the usual kooks.

The fanfuckingtastic turns, sunshine, and crew had this guy driving home in an elevated state of utter contentment.

...well this little chair delivered as much g00d skiing in washington as any other in the nation. there should be a 150" rule that ski areas should respect before closure.

as noted, a superb weekend of alpental fun mixed in with lot 4 hijinks delivered a cherished memory for my family. swell time for me embedding myself within the K00ks yet riding a majority of my days with my merry band of bakers. thanks folks for allowing this part time player to crush some snow with the first team pnw maggots.

we are not quite done with the padded seats yet because i hear ach has a plan to occupy the top lift shack on the evening of the summer solstice. tells me it is a special time and place at alpental.

enjoy the spring season folks and keep in touch

still can't picture a chair there, then i have to wrap my eyes around a gondola.
