the slopes softened nicely where the sunshine hit, but crustilly firm where el sol was blocked.
felt busier than it really was due to no nash but bowl side was best snow on hill anyhow.
see you tuesday

Today was super fun. Wish I could be up Tuesday. Long term forecast looks sunny.

In all the years I’ve been riding chair 2 I’ve heard a lot of strange things while waiting in line but today was one of the best. A young girl in a class probably about 6 paired up with a random guy told him “I’m going to murder your wife.” It made me very happy I decide to stop teaching a long time ago.
Today was great even with nash closed the sun was out and had some perfect spring conditions. Hit the small drops under the chair all day probably slightly bruised now.

i bet it's a lot 3 kid just letting it be known how she rolls.
murder is the new slang for killing it, like instead of i will win the race it's all "i'm gonna murder your wife" to get the prize.
see how that flows off the tongue?

Bobby, BARK was fun. Pasta n beers(thx), I bid on a cool quilt but didn't get a call yet. ACH has the funds and they will end up in BARK hands. An open invitation and tour when you get down here, we'll share our locals lot hospitality.

Tapper, sorry I couldn't hook up for more than the couple of runs on Saturday- got called off to daddy duty for little miss Mofro's SL race (yes, she won again)- hope to see you down Bachelor way Apr 19-22.
Sunday's sunshine and spring like conditions up on CH-2 combined with a fat 140% normal snow pack made for damn fine skiing.Move upside and let the man go through...

So deeep. So fluffy. So icy underneath.
Unfortunately, I think my season is over besides groomers. Both knees can't take it. 10 months post acl surgery knee would probably be o.k. if it wasn't trying to make up for the 1.5 month post arthroscopic surgery knee. At least I got one run of faceshots galore down nash.
See you guys on the groomers.

My binding broke at the top of chair 2 right before my first run, but besides that today was pretty awesome. Once I got my binding fixed at the bottom of alpy it was game on. Scored first tracks down gun barrel which were just hilarious. I wouldn't even turn and it was still just non-stop faceshots. If you stayed light on your feet and didn't cut too hard you wouldn't hit the ice layer underneath.
there is powder out there, and it ain't gonna find you

once again you don't really represent the "regular" rider, you should not be in the recreational division.
spending a full day crushing ice cubes below the wasatch fluff was not the pleasant ride you make it out to be. sure it looked spectacular, but hidden beneath that beauty was a cold hard bitch.
i didn't see anyone go big
