in order to ride asmuchas possible some of the folks split up and went a few miles east. i had no doubt that those seats would be warmed by numerous bums.
great morning session to compliment yesterdays magic.

While it was a bit crowded, there was plenty of magic to be had today. Especially after Snakedance opened.

colder temps and further lowering snow levels will most likely enable most of the hill to open.
gonna try and pull a lucky rabbit outta my hat

Everything on chair 2 was good. Even the last run before the chair closed was excellent.

Just looked at the WSDOT webcam and it is still nuking. I so wish I could get up there tomorrow (cures you family commitments). If they can get it open, Elevator (and potentially the High T), will be over the head. Get after it tomorrow, you lucky bastards.

it may not be the deepest
never will have the steepness
but can deliver loads of sweetness.
we missed our pals on 2 to play early a couple miles east.
smiles all around and greeted dozens of cool friends with like interests. was rather humerous listening to the locals whine about 5 minute lift lines and lots of players on fatties crushing their country club.
super cool weekend to playin the treees

The snow was as good as the lines were long (and chippy at times w/o FA to regulate things). The untracked line down Elevator was my best of the year. Unreal.

Elevator opened somewhat early, 11:30ish as a guess. No high traverse, it will be sick out there when it drops. Hopefully Tuesday? We'll see. Everything out elevator was amazing, snake dance and breakover pretty damn good too. Completely made up for the long lines.

The runs out of elevator gate were some of the best all year. Great last two days up at Alpental.

Footage from today (standard disclaimer: if you don't like POV, don't watch it. Sometimes it's nice to take a break from bringing the DSLR and just flipping a switch on the Contour).
