Surgery went well today. Knee is all cleaned up. Doc says the space where the cartilage was torn away is about the size of a nickel!
I won't be seeing you all on the hill for at least another couple weeks. Probably be on light duty for a couple more weeks after that. Hoping for a stellar March.
Shred the gapers in the unload zone for me.

Heal up up DBS, the mountain and the padded seats on C2 will be there waiting for you.
The place was super quiet today, just a bunch of local k00ks with a few strangers thrown in. Heavy snow and visibility that slipped in and out. Untracked and un skied snow at low elevations was like quickly setting cement. Over all a fun morning though.

As you should be.
That lower bench to the skiers left on Rock Face has thermal activity going on under it. If you look close when you approach from the top you can see there is a monitoring system (whether it's still active I'm not sure). Glide cracks show up there all the time and it's not at all uncommon for the thing to flush. The even scarier part is that when it does it usually goes over the cliff into that lower area where a lot of skier traffic is coming into from both sides.

alpental is full of good people and friends past and present, none of us is more important than others and this community does a good job of treating each with RESPECT.
