Thread: padded seats on chair 2

chair 2 did not fail to deliver today even after a good washing last night.
new snow with wind blown made for a nice session on the hill.
the motor is still running at higher speeds so the ride has been a bit quicker to the top as long as it doesn't stop, which it does way to often.

Thanks for the update. Sunshine predicted for this weekend, which should be nice. The trumpet scatters its awful sound Over the graves of all lands Summoning all before the throne

50/50 on the sunshine, 90/10 it will be nice with small amounts of blue ice.
watch for hidden tops of some big ice blocks in nash.
to the mountain

rode up the chair and around the mtn. with some mags from tahoe today. they were so happy to ski rad terrain on nature made snow.
the wind buff was good in the gullys.

snow has dried out and breakable crust below 4000 is less solid.
inbounds has been riding nice after natures grooming was completed.
last weekend before ski school begins and the chairs get filled more frequently. the light crowds were great the last 6 weeks.

These vids have been floating around for a while, someone sent me a link to one a few years back.
Sort of funny how he just up and disappeared from this place about 6 years ago.
We skied a bit with him for a short period prior to his departure, always remember that chrome helmet.

Yesterday concluded 19 of the last 20 on snow. Small lines, warm temps and spring snow made for fun turns on Nash and Elevator, though the 4-6" leftover pow of the last few days has gone to mank. Forecast looks a little dry this coming week...Move upside and let the man go through...

good enough for 18 outta 20 but i don't ski in the rain.
skied over dog shit right after we fist bumped, i should have been paying more attention to the terrain around the lot.

hey thanks for the ski lesson today, i will try again tomorrow to make controlled turnes as opposed to powersliding to the next available spot.
this may involve a file and a good boot buckle-up
we'll be available to grind some more ice tomorrow

yesterday a fella slid the length of the face breaking the orbital bone and feeling some serious fear.
must have been a real head trip.
74mph wind during the 3 o clock hour today
otherwise it was not a bad day at alpental considering ski school began.

Filling in nicely in the PM, but blowing sideways and poor vis up at the top.
A little scratchy here and there but worthy of L120s where it wasn't.Move upside and let the man go through...
