Woh, woh, woh. Even though none of us probably agree with ALL of his views, is Johnson a candidate that we all might actually like? I think this may be a historic moment in polyass history!

aside from he's sounds like a guy who likes the outdoors and likes to ski, what makes this no-hoper that's loved by the "we hate politics" polyass fapfest any different than the other no-hopers (Paul) that the "we hate politics" loves to piss their time and money away on

My vote as well. If even (only) 80% of all that is true, he still gets my vote.
Wow. Sounds too good to be true. But I'm guardedly optimistic on this guy. He's like a moderate's Ron Paul.
Scary how much I agree with what was posted above by Wiki's political Positions..

In my case Hugh, my vote doesn't matter. I live in a state that will go GOP unless by some miracle Obama personally invents a perpetual motion machine that runs on air and produces gold as a waste product.
Aside from that Gary Johnson's ideas make sense and he isn't a complete batshit crazy fruitloop like Ron Paul.

Fuggit - I'll vote for him too since the District will overwhelmingly vote for Obama and we're a winner-take-all locale. It'd be nice to see someone moderate get some numbers at least.

Here in WA it would take hell freezing over for Romney to win.
How many states are actually even "in play"? Seems most are predominantly red or blue, and there are only a handful that could swing either way.

... which is why they're called the Swing States, maybe? (also sometimes referred to as the "Toss-up States")

^^^I am scared DBS. Once you get away from either coast or bit to far south Obummer isn't going to win IMO. I see Obummer winning the popular vote but losing the Electoral College. Lwasuits everywhere like Bush and Gore, Mittens is elected.

To bad this Johnson dood didn't get more media attention, as I never heard of him before this thread.

That's just it. He's better on civil liberties than Obama, and he's clearly more fiscally conservative than Romney. Why won't he win? Because he'd be a real threat to the status quo in politics. Sad really. I think he'd have a real shot at fixing crap in Washington.

Because I think some dark horse out to destroy the status quo has much less of a chance of changing anything in the current environment? Name one "dark horse" who's really shook things up not in the Ron Paul babble sense, or the Rand Paul tantrum sense, but actually done shit.

No, because you don't actually make any statement as to your opinions, all you do is type quick little smug messages as if you really think you are so much smarter than all of us, that you don't need to explain your opinions. You really come off as an arrogant ass.
Also, if you don't think that Ron Paul has had a huge effect on the Redumblican party, you really are not paying any attention to what is happening around the country.
