AR is probably correct. Unless something drastically bad happens or the economy slips off the precipice again, or gas goes to $4 and above President Obama will probably win. But I'd definitely settle for a republican take over of the Senate and a continued majority in Congress.

Like $4.19 for regular here, even though we pump it and refine locally.

This is the kind of thing that gains momentum and that moves elections in one way or another that neither side can control. All of a sudden, gas prices fall off the front page and pro life freaks, religious bigots, voter suppression and racial profiling dominate the headlines. If the current weather patterns are any indication, its gonna be a hot summer.

This is my understanding of how christianity is practiced and what it means to be christian.
In the courtroom, Anderson's sister, Barbara Anderson Young, called for racial reconciliation after weeping during Dedmon's apology to her family. Anderson's family had requested prosecutors not ask for the death penalty, saying they were opposed to capital punishment.

Funny how the right loudly echoes the Catholic Church when it comes to Reproductive Choice, but not when it is about human life.

Let's concede that the tolerance of other denominations (as long as Jesus is invoked) has made some progress in the evangelical community recently when it's politically convenient.

Speaking for the Republicans was Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who poked fun at his gaffes during an unsuccessful run for the GOP presidential nomination.
He also had fun at the expense of the remaining candidates, saying: "The weakest Republican field in history, and they kicked my butt..."

All the panty twisting and war on religion BS, and it seems like all they had to do is what these guys did. But it was fine for all these years until Barry and Obamacare came around. Proving once again that these jackasses fabricate issues for political points.

This takes the cake. The Cons spend the past 4 years attacking and smearing Barry's religion. Since he hasn't made religion an issue despite the attacks, the GOP will invent the issue.

And so it goes.

Could he possibly fuck up Mitt's shit at the convention? I don't think so--not really, in any meaningful way in any case. But who knows--they do seem like they want to Nader Mitt's campaign.[quote][//quote]
