Metal shop/machinist mags: Ball Bearings with holes in them?
Looking to get a a few hundred of three different sized ball bearings with holes drilled through the center of them. Holes would be really fine, for stringing a strand of silver/stainless wire through them.
Haven't ever seen or heard of this, and have searched.

Are they decorative or functional? (i.e. what are you doing with them?)

Yeah. But they are only 1/4", so they are for REALLY uptight chicks.

Problem with Alibaba is that you need to buy hundreds of thousands. Really.
'500 pieces' likely means 500 boxes of 1000. One of the ones listed above: 'minimum order, 1 ton'
Wonder what overnight shipping is on that...Last edited by rideit; 11-30-2011 at 12:35 AM.

You could try asking for some samples from Hartford Technologies or Abbott Ball Company.

Needle bearings / roller bearings won't do what you want?

In any case, if you're ever really in this situation make sure you at least bargain in a couple of fluffers.
