    Skevik Anton - 2011/2012...any info?

I am looking for a new "fat" touring set up this year. I likely will be mounting the Dynafit Radical FTs to the ski. I have heard little about the Skevik Anton other than a few people that ride them and tell me that it's their fav. I am also looking at the JJs or the BD Amperage as alternatives. Any data would be appreciated. They seem like they have a great profile/shape and I like that they are hand made by a small outfit.

    Thanks in advance.

was touring with my friend the past 3 days with them.. one of those guys that says it is his favourite ski. flexy, pretty light, and just overall fun. I'll try to ask him some more details tomorrow. He did say that they apparently only made about 40 pairs this year, so they may sell out soon

"Super playful ski. Light for their size which makes them great for touring. The tapered tip and tail make it real easy to scrub speed by tossing them sideways. I love em."

he also told me to note the wicked graphics from Arbutus Routes: http://whistleroutbackadventures.blo...i-graphic.html

furthermore, PM el hefe.. he has all of their skis and loves them

Can't say enough good things about them. I have 3 pairs now and all rip. The Anton would be a great touring option, very versatile and hard charging. I skied them hard last year and they still will be my go to ski while sled skiing. They really seem to stomp the shit out of everything, I took them to valhalla pow last year for my first day on them and couldn't believe how confident I felt launching everything.

The sled ski racks typically put a lot of abuse on sidewalls and the top sheet near the side wall, these held up really well. Can't beat the graphics IMO. Price is nice too.

The brothers who make them are super cool straightforward guys who both shred.
