    Cutting Naxo 21

Help a newbie to get into AT! I have the opportunity buying Naxo 21 relatively cheap, but they are large and I need them to accept 295-300mm boot. Can they be cut? From the photos I saw, seems like it is possible, but wanted to make sure. If somebody done it, what's involved?
    Thanks!

    welcome jong

seeing you at least managed to get yer first post into the right forum i'll be nice.

use a google search [keyword(s) + site:tetongravity.com] and you shall find multiple threads covering this topic.

or if you get lazy i'm pretty sure i have an extra set of medium rails hiding in the bottom of my messy ass box of ski miscellany that i would part with for ~$10+ship

WOW! Sounds very condescending, but I'll take it! Thank you AT gurus (sincerely)! I bow to your wisdom!

I just cut some down the other day, super easy.

    a) open pilsner
    1) remove rails (torx screw that holds AFD apparatus in place)
    2) lay out new rail length/hole location
    3) cut rails/drill holes
    4) reassemble (torx screw will cut its own threads if you got the hole size close)
    b) open pilsner/admire work

Try not to screw it up JONG!
